The media could not be loaded. I couldn't wait for this to arrive! It arrived assembled and ready to hang! No fuss! And it was super easy to wax on, wax off with a microfiber towel. This wind spinner goes perfectly with all of my porch decor. I already have crystals everywhere that cast rainbows so this piece fit right in. I will note that the plain crystal in particular does not come with the metal coil wrapped around it. I saw that some other color options did and I had noted a review that mentioned anchoring the pendulum crystal with fishing line bc when the wind picks up speed, the pendulum can swing out of control hitting the metal frame & causing it to disrupt the spin. We've had some pretty windy days here lately and so far, so good. If I have to come up with a solution in the future, so be it, but for now I am leaving as is and will take down if the winds get too out of control. I am still super pleased though and will enjoy this memorizing beauty. This would make a Beautiful gift!

Add some sparkle to your garden

I’ve had this wind spinner for a short period of time, so I don’t have enough data to evaluate how it will look or perform over time. I received the wind spinner in a small box and it was assembled. The only two things I needed to attach to the wind spinner was the chain to suspend the glass prism and the chain used to hang the wind spinner. With the slightest breeze, the wind spinner will rotate. During strong gusts of wind, the glass prism can swing like a pendulum, because the glass prism is held in place by a chain connected to the top of the wind spinner. There isn’t a similar chain from the bottom of the prism to the bottom of the wind spinner to stabilize the prism. The lack of a stabilizing chain isn’t a reason to avoid this product. It would simply make a very good wind spinner even better, but regardless, I am enjoying this product and do recommend it.

This spinner is beautiful! Warning: metal edges are SHARP.

Bought two and hung them from trees in the back yard. They are beautiful! Colors are like oil - purple, green, gold, and the prism is substantial. But beware: The metal edges on this piece are SHARP, so you'll want to handle this spinner with sturdy gloves, especially when you're waxing it before hanging out in the weather (which the manufacturer recommends to preserve the finish, but no wax is included with the spinner, so heads-up on that.) It catches the wind really well (no need for a motor to make it spin) and looks great. No assembly was required, you just have to remove a small plastic bag that's twist-tied to the prism in the center of the spinner (again -- wear gloves to avoid a cut from the metal).

Beautiful

The media could not be loaded. This is unique. It spins in the slightest breeze - when others aren't. The reflective colors are pretty. I DID wax it, as they recommend. Kind of awkward to get around the curves and edges while holding a sharp piece of metal. If waxing it helps it hold up, it's worth it. If it doesn't hold up to weather I'll let you know! It does have sharp-ish edges. I wasn't overly cautious while waxing it and I didn't cut myself. So yippee that. It's very pretty. My favorite!

Beauty…at a great price!

We had a stand alone spinner that was too tall, and eventually had problems with some strong wind. We got this to place on a shepherd’s hook, in a spot that gets a great deal of sun all day. Home run!!! It is pretty, fascinating to watch, and the crystal is super in the sun. Great choice, great gift, great price.

Beautiful wind spinner

This is a good one! Bought a bunch of these to test out. This one is really light. It’s sharp as all get out so be careful. I do wish this was bigger as it is quite small.
