Shockingly accurate.

I was in between 3 different products before ultimately choosing the rapsodo mlm, mostly because I liked the idea of having instant video feedback and this also provides you with all of the most important data points that a golfer needs in a personal launch monitor. Sure you can pay more money for a launch monitor with more metrics, but unless you’re using this as a way to provide lessons or fit someone else for clubs, you really don’t need any of those. This is probably not the product you would want to use if you are a swing coach of club fitter, this product is specifically for the individual golfer and it’s perfect for tracking your progression if you’re speed training, learning how far you typically can hit each club as well as how far you max out of each club and it’s great for the golfer who is just starting to learn how to shape shots, as the ball tracer feature is actually really accurate. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the ball tracer, I thought it would be the type of thing that I wouldn’t even bother looking at but I was dead wrong. The ball tracer is almost never wrong and it’s one of my favorite features of this Device. I highly recommend this to any golfer, regardless of skill level or handicap. And I know this is mainly to be used in a driving range setting where you can hit many shots at a time, but because of how easy and fast it is to set up you can also take this onto the course with you and set it up on the tee or in the fairway to get real-time feedback on your shots during a round.

Extremely satisfied

I did quite a bit of comparison shopping before making my first purchase of a launch monitor and the Rapsodo checked all the boxes. I was looking for something small and economical but with plenty of bang for the buck and mobile launch monitor has it all. It was super easy to set up and pair with my phone and I initially tried it with a net in my back yard and was quickly impressed. I've since moved up to using it on the range where I get plenty of questions from others. Whether it improves my game or not is up for debate but at the very least, it's made the practice sessions plenty more interesting which in turn has me doing more of them which can only help. Highly recommend this device for other golf nuts like myself!

Great value

Great price. Portable. Quick set up to use while on the golf course that helps me find my errant shots. Just as accurate as the launch monitor at my driving range and as accurate as my gps app. Put your phone on low battery mode while using. I wish I could see all my stats at once, but switching which ones are displayed is saved for each shot and it is easy to toggle.

The practice of golf has become even more enjoyable

I've been able to improve the effectiveness of my practice more than before because I can verify whether my shots are good or not with various data. Previously, I only had clues based on the visual trajectory and the feel of the shot. But by looking at the numbers, I can see that what I thought was good wasn't actually good, and sometimes what I thought was mediocre turned out to be surprisingly good. This helps me in my trial and error process. I think $300 is very cheap.

Excellent Features for the Price

I've had this launch monitor for just under a year and am really impressed. It gives you all the key metrics you need to improve your game, especially if you are a mid-to-high handicapper or just getting started. Set up was a breeze (I have an iPhone 13) and it only took me 10 minutes to get set up my first time. I love the shot tracing feature in addition to the distance / speed stats. I'm looking forward to trying out their new MLM2PRO version, but for the price this little device can't be beat. I've already been able to adjust my game as a result - for example, I figured out that I hit my 6, 5, and 4 irons the same distance, so I've replaced my 5 and 4 with hybrids that give me better gapping. Highly recommend.

Works best on the range

I bought this to use with a net , and it works but very limited ( only speed yardage and launch angle, ( not very accurate) but in the range is where this product shines. It was accurate on distance and shot tracer . Good feature in both net and range is shot replay , so you can see what you did well or not in your swing .

Works better than expected!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this monitor as I've never used anything like it but I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to set up and the overall performance of it. It is really nice to see some stats to go along with my range session. It helped me dial in my yardages on a recent trip to Payne's Valley! It did stop detecting shots when the sun started to set but that is to be expected. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone looking to become more consistent and would purchase again myself!

Great device!… When it works

Was hesitant to purchase, read alot of mixed reviews. I think it truly comes down to user experience once you buy. Setup was super easy, and fast to get started! Auto calibration and charge it up, you are good to go. I boight this device to use in my garage into a net. I measured out my setup meticulously just how they wanted, had it very well lit, and still it didnt capture 50% of my shots. For the ones it did capture, the data was accurate, and displayed very clearly and easy to understand. The app is fantastic for going back and understanding what happened on each shot, and is great if you are into the analysis of numbers. I didn’t have the time to fiddle around with it after every non recorded shot, making it not worth it for me. Probably works much better outside though

Great piece of kit

Once I had downloaded the app and connected to the device it worked immediately. I found it extremely easy to use, and missed only 2 shots in my first three sessions, both of which were semi-shanks by me that I wouldn’t want in the dataset anyway. Carry distances quoted were close to those I use on the course, so I believe it to be accurate. I will now use the device to practice half and three-quarter shots with my wedges so that I can control my distances better. As others have stated, the display is not easy to read in sunlight while you are standing several feet from it, but on a quiet range I had the Rapsodo calling out the details so I didn’t need to refer to the screen until I was changing clubs.

One of the best Launch Monitors for the price

Lots of great features. This device does provide instant feedback and you do get clear traceable understanding of your golf shots. Shot tracer and video feedback is great and the data following a practice session very valuable especially in terms of club gapping. Be able to see your shot library and related data after a practice session is excellent. It will get about 95% of your shots from a basket of 100 balls. My only gripe would be on occasions it does short change you on the yardage of long shots. Saying that, I would recommend this device as a great training aid and overall very good launch monitor for the price.
