Great broom for indoor and outdoor use

I have one indoors to sweep the rugs and hardwood floors; and another to sweep the outdoors steps and patio. Works great for me. . The bristles are hard not soft. In my opinion, the soft bristle brooms do not sweep up everything.

My husband loves this broom!

Stiff bristles! I have trouble using it but my husband loves it! We take it camping to sweep our indoor/outdoor rug in front of our camper.

Strong enough for construction waste

Handle/stick all one piece. Strong enough for debris and light gravel. This one will last.

Sturdy

I like these for snow on steps. They have very sturdy bristles that push it right off. Wouldn't use for household use but good for Shop, garage, snow or sidewalk.

The handle is a multi-piece screw-together

I don't like the handle. Being multiple pieces that need to be screwed together means it flexes a LOT during use and a higher likelihood to unscrew during use. I use it for outside, so it sees bigger things, like larger sticks/branches that have fallen, wet leaves, etc. It needs a solid, one-piece handle. The only advantage this multi-section handle offers its ability to be shortened for kids and toddlers. Or Willow. Maybe if Willow comes to visit, I can give him a short-handled broom to sweep up outside.

Best outdoor/general purpose broom i've owned!!!

i needed a broom that could clear packed snow, broken ice, residual road salt and general debris from around my apartment building. the price made me a bit leery because Home Depot and Lowe's have "similar" but 1, their prices were over $20, and 2, the bristles were nowhere near as firm as i needed. so i bit the bullet, cried once and paid twice for 2 of these brooms. i am so glad i did. these thing are sturdy and they made a 2 hour job get done in 30 minutes. now the reason i bought two is that if one breaks, then i have a spare and even then the spare is used for just for inside duty. which i took it to my carpet's high traffic areas after i vacuumed and while the bristles are firm and tough enough for outdoor use, they're still pliable enough and fine enough to aggravate carpet to loosen and thereby allowing my vacuum cleaner to get more dirt up and out. now to the down points. 1. the packing. each broom was delivered separately in a cardboard box measuring 5 feet long, 14 inches wide and 8 inches deep. don't get me wrong, i sincerely appreciate the care for product but i checked with my local post office, UPS store and FedEx local. in one box there literally is enough room that 3 to 4 brooms could fit and still packed securely. for me to ship an item like the items were shipped to me would have been as low as $30 to as high as $50. for each broom. down point number 2...dang there isn't one. but in a nutshell, this is a great item, at an OUTSTANDING price. i highly, HIGHLY, would recommend it for others to purchase.

EXCELLENT - Hope it Lasts Outside

it's a smaller and shorter broom head than any other i have used. when i saw it i laughed out loud at it. i never imagined a broom head so tiny, and LIGHT would be effective. and use scissors getting the delivery packaging off, i didnot and the broom handle end poked a hole through my jeans in the crotch. BUT - after long over due - as in not once all summer - WEED WACKING there was chunks of old grass clippings stuck to pavement and buried under thick dirt and pebbles & the fresh cut weeds, along with wet grass clippings and this broom swept it all up with ease. very very stiff bristles are perfectly suited to remove grub from sidewalk surface (my sidewalk has pebbled texture) as well as the tires of the Jeep and mower deck. should have taken a before and after b/c you would not believe how much DIRT this broom swept up. though this is of a smaller size so it will take a little longer to accomplish sweeping up but the sweeping part is easy with this broom. and eff blowers that just blow crap on someone else's property. get this and you'll be done in half the time it takes to plug in a blower.

perfect for concrete patios

I bought this broom as an alternative to traditional husk garden brooms, which I find don't last and are not stiff enough. This broom is great for concrete walkways or patios. It is a very stiff broom and I didn't like it on our wooden deck but it was perfect for our concrete patio. If you're looking for a traditional garden broom I don't think you will like this as it's difficult to be delicate with it. If you're cleaning up a work site or giving a really good clean to you patio, it's great.

Great broom for outdoor use

The broom’s bristles are stiff and strong, which is ideal for sweeping our porch and patio of leaves and dirt. I had been looking for a long time at hardware stores, online and in person, and all of the “outdoor” brooms had bristles that were too soft for our needs. Very happy with this purchase.

Light and stiff broom

The brush is a bit shorter than what I thought but it is surprisingly stiff. It’s light but I would stick to my push broom for more heavy duty work.
