Beautiful, full plant

I don't know why some reviewers said they had to spend (5) hours correcting the leaves on this plant. I took the plant out of the box, and it is already beautiful! What real spider plant is perfect on this planet? I don't think any. This is the closest thing to natural I have ever seen! I just brought down a few leaves and spiderlings, and that is it! Took me 15 minutes! Beautiful fake spider plant. I would buy again! The only thing I hated was that string hanger that came with it. I took it off, and bought a nicer one for $9.00 from Amazon. I have it in a corner, but I am sure it would look fantastic anywhere! Price is right for the full plant that you will get. Take a chance and buy it, you will love it!!!

Good looking plant, but basket not included

Heads up — the 23 x 29 x 20 (“multi-color”) version does NOT include a hanging basket. It is just the four stems (see first photo). They do look nice though. See second photo — fluffed out and propped up in the shipping box, with a pen held up for scale (pen not included). Definitely a nice big plant that will look good in my office. I will keep the stems and get my own basket. I guess now I can choose whether to get a hanging basket or one that sits on top of my bookshelf. But just be aware that the basket is not included with the version I bought.

Looks great, but needs some work upon delivery

I was a little leary about purchasing this plant after the reviews, but it was the only artificial spider plant on amazon I could find at the time of ordering. I figured I could return it if needed. First, the basket looks like the photo and has sufficient moss-like covering so that the styrofoam doesn't show through. It needed a lot of adjustment after it arrived to make it look "real," but I don't think it's unmanageable. 1. I was setting my on my desk (and not hanging it), so first, I adjusted the main stems to get it to sit up right and not topple over. 2. Many of the leaves were straight or bent at odd angles, so I had to reshape and curve them in a more natural direction (I had to do this with almost every leave, which was time consuming, but do-able). I don't know that this plant could successfully be shipped without having to make these adjustments 3. There were some leaves that were folded in half lengthwise that needed opening and curving. I had a harder time keeping these open/curved, but there were only 2-3 of these, and after awhile, they, too stayed put. In the end, the plant looks like the photo, and relatively real. I work in a basement with no nearby water source, so real plants aren't really an option. It doesn't look as amazingly impressive as other artificial plants I've ordered (like this one: Golden Dieffenbachia Silk Plant by Nearly Natural), but I'm glad I purchased this and think it looks very nice, and I would recommend purchasing. Don't expect to use straight out of the box

I debated about buying this after reading reviews. Fortunately I was able to purchase it ""used - like new" so I paid less than 1/2 the regular price. I spent about 5 hours getting it right. Like other reviewers stated you will need to rearrange leaves and do some serious trimming on little burrs left on stems. Once done - it looks fantastic. I can't have "real" plants thanks to my four legged children. If you are willing to invest the time this plant will end up looking REAL. I had to turn each leaf so it faced up and do some gluing to repair leaves that were separating from their stems. Using a butter knife gently like you were curling ribbon was the easiest way to shape leaves. The end result is amazing. If you are willing to invest the time and you are looking for an authentic looking plant - this is the best I have seen for spider plant. Just don't expect to open box and pop it into a pot.

Some leaves were broken.

If they leaves were not broken and some laying in the box it would have been a nice full plant for a big window.

Looks good once cleaned up and worked on

I didn't like the way it arrived. It was a total mess. But I also understood that it just needed to be arranged. I didn't like that I had to trim off parts of molding plastic from the dangling stems. The plant hadn't been efficiently "cleaned" before shipping. For a realistic look the stems needed to be cleaned of the molding plastic. I then moved the leaves around and arranged them to look better. You need to do this while hanging as it doesn't stand up on it's own. Once I was done and hung it, I was very pleased with how good and full it looked. If you get close you can see that it's faux but it's hanging high in a corner so it looks great now.

doesnt last

bought this last year to hang in closed area outside and they are not made to be outside..pretty at first but the colors fade and any wind or whatever will break off the leaves or "fronds" for this particular fake plant..oh well..just keep it indoors and out of any sun or weather..pss im not a green thumb so i get the "fake plants"! basket is ok however and the plant styrofoam base is really glued into the basket!

Good value & pretty realistic looking

Up close can tell its artificial but works for me where they are located in my house and since I kill evey real one I've had, this is the way to go for me! They are pretty real looking if not up close. Full and thick. Good color. Well made.

this product was used as a hanging planter in a guest bedroom ....its looks ok but not as real looking as we thought it would be considering the price...that being said it is reasonably well constructed and hopefully will last ....

Spider plant

I love this plant I didn’t want it to hang so bought another pot to put it in as the one that it came in the bottom wasn’t flat as it was meant to hang . It looks real and I’m satisfied with it

Décevant

Est arrivé dans une boîte brisée . La pot est croche et ne peut pas être déposé sur une table et même trop laid pour être laissé dans la jardinière (cheap aussi). J'ai dormis beaucoup de temps pour lui donner une forme qui a de l'allure , dans un nouveau pot. Les feuilles ont l'air naturelles mais pas les fleurs . Ne vaut pas le prix à mon avis .
