Nicely Made, Leaves may bend in shipment

This review is for the Softflame 35in Artificial Snake Plant. I think the quality and appearance of this is very good for an artificial plant. It's a good value for how realistic it looks, though it will not hold up to close examination (not sure any artificial plants would). While the plant was packaged well, it must have been mishandled in shipping and the upper leaves were bent unnaturally for the top 1-2 inches. I've left it out for a bit over a month hoping it might right itself, but even with coaxing it looks like the leaves are permanently bent. That said, its still looks great and it's not distracting enough that I'd even consider returning it.

Good Company for Artificial Plants

This is a good company brand for artificial plants. I own three of their plants, this snake plant, a Boston fern, and an agave plant. The snake plant is my second favorite. I like it. It is big and adds perpetual green to an area. Inside the house or on the porch it looks good. Comes in a little black plastic pot and it would really kick it up a notch to put it in a larger pot or woven basket or planter cover. It is four stars instead of five because the leaves are not adjustable. At least three of the leaves should have a wire. Real snake plants are not this bunched up. This plant is too tightly packed in on itself to fool me into thinking it was real. I have had about 50 snake plants in my life and this one needs more air space between at least three of the leaves to look more realistic. For the high price point I would like to be able to adjust a few leaves to my liking. Otherwise, nice colors and top quality materials. Comes exceptionally well packed for protection and well packaged for shipping in a very large box. NO assembly required.

Realistic and heavy! Doesn’t tip over

The bottom of this plant is heavy to not fall over which I reply appreciate it. The bottom and the leaves look authentic and don’t give the impression of a fake plant at all. I found it i be a good size for a nice corner. The only come was the top leaves came a little bent to one side so I keep bending it the opposite way every day hoping it evens out but not very noticeable. Perfect if your like me and just don’t have time to keep up with real plants but want the color that they bring in your home

The plastic leaves are a bit thick for my liking

The weighted base is great at grounding the plant and makes it less likely to topple. However, the leaves are quite artificial looking in my opinion. It’s just a bit too obvious that they’re made from a thick, synthetic plastic. I prefer artificial plants that have a finer texture to the leaves. Overall, this is okay, but I’d say it’s a low to mid-range faux plant.

Realistic looking, sturdy and functional.

Great looking artificial snake plant. Looks quite realistic. I placed it next to a real snake plant and it was hard to tell the difference till I felt the leaves. It’s well done. Great quality and color variations. The base is quite heavy. It helps to keep the plant from tipping forward, so it’s very sturdy. However in my opinion I feel the price point is fitting, because the faux plant I received is of great quality and a good size as well. Overall its functional and I’m not disappointed. I recommend it.

priced too high

It's a nice accent plant, but I think the price is too high for what it is made of. Leaves are very very plastic looking compared to other faux plants I've purchased in the past. and I would have hoped they were slightly better quality. It came well packaged so there was no damage. There is also a decent amount of weight to it to prevent tipping. I was just not as content with the over quality of the leaves which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Tall, dense, but needs a new pot

This plant is very dense, so there are a lot of leaves. However, you can’t move them very easily, so they are quite stuck in the position they’re in. The plant comes in a very small (too small to leave it that way) pot. In order for it to not look ridiculous, you’ll want to place it in a bigger pot. I love that it is very tall, so if you need to cover some vertical space, it is great for that. Hope this helps.

Realistic snake plant but stems won't stay straight

The media could not be loaded. This snake plant isn't super shiny like some artificial plants are and it looks like real snake stems but when I pulled it out the box there were two stems that had bent from shipping and Ive messed with them to try and manipulate them to stay straight but they won't. Would be five stars if they weren't broke.
