Light, fluffy, but too damp for our liking.
We move the litter box to the basement and appreciate the manageable weight of this size box. We switched from A&H clump and slide which we LOVED, but this light-weigh stuff is a pain to clean. It goes everywhere. Doesn't really scoop well. We have a sifting type box and damp litter just falls right through. We waste so so much. It is good at suppressing odors though.

Scoops Well, But What the H*ll?
Since last Tuesday, I’ve been smelling something fetid in my garage. I assumed it was the garbage, so after trash day on Thursday, I was creeped out to find the garage still had the weird smell. I read enough (& watch enough tv) to know rotting bodies give off a “putrid, sweet odor”, so Bobo the cat and I spent quite a bit of time rustling up dust and spiders, looking for dead animal carcass in and under garage items. Nothing. Nada. Still on topic... during pandemics, it’s wise or at least time-saving to let packages sit “outside” a few days if not needed right away. At any given time, I have at least one Amazon box or one bag of NON-PERISHABLE food in garage, waiting for entry into the castle. Aha! Had I overlooked a piece of fruit or a pork chop in my grocery delivery bag?? Nope... just canned tuna and drink mix. Fast forward a few hours. Litter box was low on litter, so I went to garage to bring in the large but “lightweight” white and black cardboard box of Purina Tidy Cats LightWeight 4-in-1 Strength Clumping Cat Litter, delivered earlier in the week. It sat in the opened Amazon box (usually have to at least open the box because I forget what I ordered), and as I approached it, the putrid smell engulfed me. “Oh no! An animal fell in and was trapped somehow... and died. Did a rat get packed in at the warehouse? Surely it would have chewed through the box and gained freedom!” I put on a mask and approached again...closer and closer I crept. Then -- a horrifying thought stopped me in my Skechers. “Should I post on FB what is happening, in case I succumb to this toxic cloud of death funk? Otherwise, nobody will find my body until the neighbors smell an even worse sweetly sick odor emanating from my garage. And my cats get HANGRY... so they might be forced to eat my body if left with no crunchies for days and days.” Surprisingly to all who know my “TMI” habits, I opted to keep this experience to myself, as it unfolded. Mask on, (wonderful b’day gift from my sister) deadly sharp limb clippers in hand, I nudged the litter box as it sat in the Amazon box. Nudged again. Approached and poked - and poked again - and poked ... a hole in the litter container. And some spilled out. And more putrid smell. OMG... was an animal packaged inside with the litter??? I dumped it all out of the cardboard container, and into the Amazon box. I plucked up the now empty litter box and shook it. NOTHING!!! But the stench was stronger. My God!! What wretched gates of hell had I unwittingly opened??!!? And now I had loose litter in an oversized Amazon box, and a kitty litter box inside that still needed filling. I pulled a heavy duty trash bag out and started filling it with the litter... I was getting accustomed to the rotting scent of demon vomit. After taking care of the litter box inside, now full of fresh litter and seasoned with Abigail the cat’s poop (she must christen the box every time there’s fresh litter), I returned to garage sitting with a cup of coffee. After several minutes, I realized the garage smelled ABSOLUTELY FINE! Had I completely acclimated to the smell? Bringing my now empty mug back into the kitchen, I was struck by a familiar, entirely unfriendly stench. For the love of Pete!!! Am I the stench? I sniffed myself where I could reach (honeysuckle and hand soap greeted me). I approached the litter box and leaned down to scoop Abigail’s bountiful box donation and...EUREKA!... mystery 100% solved. The kitty litter itself smells awful. It can best be described as a potpourri of roadkill carcass, rancid beef liver left to defrost in an easterly facing window in summertime Arizona, old lettuce from the back of your fridge, cherry jello smell, and a small bouquet of lavender from a French garden. However, it does scoop much better than the other litter by Tidy cat, so... I highly recommend it.

Love lightweight
Easy to use. No dust. Smells great.

Good stuff
This is the best clumping litter for the price. I'm 82 and handicapped so it's wonderful to have this delivered instead of having to chase it down at a store and manage to get it home.

Plastic Sack
Beware that plastic bag may not be sealed properly. Mine was not and dumped a pile of litter on the garage floor. Now I have litter tastefully decorated with whatever was in the garage. And what's with the GIANT bag? Very hard to handle and terrible for the environment. They made it easier to get to the litter but harder to pour. I'm hoping to see improvements in future orders.

Clumps a lot to the walls
The litter smells good and is easy to use but seems to make a mess more than other brands I have used and creates rather large clumps compared to others.

Dire consequences
My shipment's running late. Not really complaining, just ... now, I have to have a very difficult conversation with my cat (cos I ran out and can't clean her litter until this arrives). She may throw claws. Just sayin', but the litter itself is amazing. It actually clumps. And they don't fall apart. When you're done cleaning the litter it's actually free of clumps and there are not left over little bits that filter through the scoop. t's definitely worth waiting for but she's not known for patience.

Good product
Love the light weight but could be a better clump to it

OVERPRICED MISLEADING
Do not buy this from this seller. It is misleading as you can purchase this 7.71 kg at any pet store for $21. It is labeled as 17 lb making it seem like it's 17 kg with a black circle that says online exclusive. The product itself is great but the price gouge isn't fair.

Too many chemicals.
I live in a small space so it was easy to smell the new litter through the bag and box. I thought I would get used to it or would dissipate over time once it sat undisturbed. Instead I became so ill with migraines and vomiting that I was unable to take care of myself. One of the most unpleasant disorienting experiences I have had. When I visited a friend I got better. When i opened all windows I got a little better. When I put the litter outside I got better. Otherwise I was in constant pain.

Does not control smell
This brand claims to control ammonia smell for 14 days guaranteed. I put 4 inches in the litter box as instructed and after 24 hours use with one cat the smell is horrendous. I have used 3 boxes of this litter thinking maybe there was a bad batch. The price was reasonable but in the end this product does not work well. Scooping everything out as quickly as possible but the odor is strong. Other types of litter I used before did not have this issue and would last several days before any issue. Truly disappointing

Do not buy, this stuff is awful
This kitty litter is a complete waste of money, it does not clump, wick, or dry. I wind up with blobs of urine soaked kitty litter scattered about and with reefs of soaked kitty litter lining the box. Not only that, but what it really does well is to stick to my cat: when Rex does his biz, he then goes to paw litter over the latest, and winds up with his fur covered in a layer of urine soaked kitty litter. This is awful stuff & I recommend you avoid it at all costs. I ordered 2 large boxes of Arm & Hammer (more expensive, but it works) and then cleaned the box with soap & bleach & threw out the balance of this junk. Rex is much happier.
