Fairly good product.

It does what it says. It simply stabilizes the first metatarsal-phalangeal joint. It still moves but it definitely lessens the moving if you wear this. A + for not being uncomfortable.

Helped me overcome an annoying fracture

I broke my left big toe. It was a minor fracture according to the podiatrist and he gave me a nice tape job that only made it through 2 showers. Then I was in pain until I found this. It gave me enough support and compression to make it comfortable to walk and even exercise. I liked that I could wear it alone or under a sock with a shoe one. Probably not great for a serious fracture. Yes, it is thin material but the stretch and ability to adjust as needed is so great. Plus, you can wash it easily and it dries quickly...perfect for something that is on your smelly foot all the time.

The splint was made of a flimsy fabric and did not move the toe once in place with the velcro straps. The company charged a restocking fee upon return which I was not aware of. I will not order from this company again, Carol Walton

Exactly what we needed

This product is very useeful for wearing at night to prevent/correct tendon tightening after bunion surgury. The condition results in the big toe being pulled away from the 2nd toe (just the opposite of the condition created by the bunion) and using this device nightly has greatly eased the problem. Apply just before bed and just after stretching the tendon manually. Decrease in pain during the day has been dramatic.

This can't possibly be useful for anything

This thing is worthless. I was hoping that I could use something simple and light weight to help with my turf toe. Do not get this for turf toe. Your toe will benefit more from you going out and buying some ice cream with the money, than putting this thing on. I'm really not sure how this could be helpful for any kind of use, maybe as a sling shot. Best advice is to use some stretchy cloth (not rubber!) bandages and isolate your toe that way, if you don't want to use the time consuming perfect fix of athletic tape. Athletic tape is the best fool proof way to protect your toe, but you will go through a lot of tape and be removing and reapplying every couple of days.

I used this for a toe sprain following a nasty toe drag. I was really rough with this (wore with flip-flops) and it held up well enough. This won't last forever, but it will last until your current injury is healed.

Not worth the money. Doesn't give much support very flimsy.
