Similar readings to my other oximeter
My husband and I both tried this and our readings were within 1 of our other oximeter so it seems to be accurate. That being said, this oximeter is a bit more expensive than our other one and I don’t find it offers anything more than that does. It seems sturdy and well made, just as the other one is, but not sure why it costs so much more. The readings are large and easy to see. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t so much more expensive than similar ones on the market, and I actually like the look of my cheaper one more. Happy to have this around as a backup, which was my intended purpose for it anyway, but wouldn’t buy it for the price it’s available at.

Comfortable and easy to use and read.
Review of the SmartHeart Pulse Oximeter Model #11-50K This Oximeter may be the perfect one. It is very comfortable and easy to read. The meter is designed for you to curl your finger when reading. It is very comfortable in the hand and seems to provide accurate readings. The pulse rate correlates with other devices (such as my watch), and oxygen monitoring seems correct as well when compared to my other other meter. I tested it on all my fingers from thumb to pinky to see if the results were the same on differing sizes of fingers and they were consistent (although the instructions say not use it on your thumb). The large red numbers are very easy to read. The legends are kind of small and I suspect can be hard to read for some people, but as long as you know the top is the heart rate, and the bottom is the oxygen you really don't need them. It should be noted it cannot show "100%" for the oxygen level, as it only has two digits. I don't see this as a problem as low blood oxygen is really the worry. The device is white with a blue face and includes a matching blue quick release lanyard and the two AA batteries needed for operation as well. So what is it lacking? These things may not be a problem for you, I actually find this easy to use without issue, but you may be interested in these two very minor issues: -It is lacking a way to being able to "flip" or turn the numbers over. This is helpful if you need to keep your fingers flat instead of "curling" your finger or you need someone else to read it. -A small storage case might be nice. For me this isn't a big deal, but for some people it might be. Per the included instructions this device is designed for people engaged in sports and aviation activities, and not for for people who need these measurements because of a medical condition. It seems accurate, but best to ask your doctor if it is OK for use if you have such a condition. In conclusion: I find this a very comfortable to use, easy to read pulse oximeter. The large red numbers, and comfort make it one to strongly consider for purchase.

fast readings
SmartHeart Pulse Oximeter | Blood Oxygen Saturation | Complete System Monitor Lanyard and Batteries | Portable Spot-Check Monitoring They are easy to use, just takes 2 AAA batteries which are included. one button to turn it on and it reads within 5 seconds and continues to measure until it is turned off. It seems to give reading on the lower side. I keep keeping 95 where as my other oximeters reads 98. It also turn off by itself once the finger is not inserted anymore. which is a nice feature. The reading numbers is not facing me, so I have to rotate them to read my numbers. pretty standard like the other oximeters I have. Overall, this is a compact device that can be taken during travel just in case. I would recommend this oximeter.

attaching the neck string
I tried it a few times and the readings are very close in range and some and sometimes right on the reading which means it is accurate or somewhat accurate, i'm not sure what you call that neck string that attaches to the device so you can put it around your neck and and you don't lose it I could never figure never figure out how to attach it. thank you

Accurate
My husband and I used this and compared it to our other pulse oximeter. They read within a point or two of each other, so it is accurate. It does seem to take longer to give me a reading than our other one. The one thing I do not like about it is to read it, I have to turn my hand inward. It is designed for someone else to read it and not the wearer. This isn't a bad thing, but not convenient if you are alone. I don't know if it was supposed to be this way, or if I received one that was made incorrectly.

Gives readouts close to another one I use
This pulse oximeter is good, but there are a couple things that would make it even better for me. One is that, if you need these measurements due to a medical condition, the instructions say you shouldn't use this, but in another spot the instructions say it could be read by a caregiver. It's confusing with pulse oximeters, because I can understand that they don't want to say they're for medical use, but if they're only for casual exercise use, that defeats one of the main purposes of a pulse oximeter. Another thing worth noting is that the orientation is only one way. Some pulse oximeters will let you change it to what way is the most convenient for you to read. I don't find the way the readout is oriented to be the best angle for me. I compared this to the one I use most, and the readouts are very similar, within about two beats of one another, for the most part. While I can't say for a fact that that means it's accurate, I would say it means that it's at least close to my other one that I use most, and the specific unit I got is pretty accurate for me.

Good quality but too expensive
This oximeter is accurate. It is able to help me quickly know about my blood oxygen saturation (SPO2) and pulse rate (BPM) from any finger. The figures are large and easy to read. Just too expensive at this price.
