Dispenser is good but the sandpaper are not the correct grits. Most feel the same.

The perfection of sanding for the penmaker

I've used variations of this sanding package for penmaking. This unit, since it's metal and not cardboard, is excellent. I mounted the unit next to my lathe, and use the "blade" to pull off a two to three-inch strip of each grit as I sand the blank in preparation for wet sanding. The dispenser unit does not start to fall apart as do the cardboard units. It's proven to be a perfect sanding solution for me.

Great for keeping sand paper handy

I like it because it can be attached to a wall or side of a cabinet so that the sandpaper is handy to get some when you need it. It has a good tear-off strip.

Rolled Sandpaper Dispenser, The Best Sandpaper Accessory for Small Lathework, Pens, etc.

I use rolled, dispensable sandpaper regularly in my fountain pen making. Have bought this type of product previously from PSI. What I liked, good range of sandpaper grits labelled from coarse to very fine. The Dispenser itself is solid, rugged, coated metal, so it can be secured and hung off my bench, for easy to tear off sandpaper strips, as required, without needing scissors, firm hands, etc. Generally, a useful and helpful product for anyone turning pens or smaller lathe items... requiring smaller, approximately, 1 inch wide strips... Appears, also to be reloadable... also a good thing, environmentally... If you turn Pens, for example, this is highly recommended, as part of your finishing (you may want much finer sandpapers (1,000 Grit +) and buffing, polishing compounds, for the "best, final look and results". IMO, PSI is one of the best of many Lathes, Parts and Accessories Suppliers... have done business with them for over 10 years, reliable and consistent. Recommended.

Fits a luthier's need.

I needed different grades of sand paper to complete fret leveling. This has all the different grades I required. It comes in a nice dispenser. Greta product.

Good product, slight shipping damage.

Great product for the price paper is decent quality as well as the dispenser is more rigid than I imagined. Product had a small bend in the area to cut the lowest grit on delivery makes it harder to rip that grit off.

Very nice kit, well packaged and very useful and sturdy dispatcher included. I installed the whole thing on the wall, just by my wood lathe and this is greatly handy. Highly recommended.

glad I got this product

I do lots of small projects on a lathe - pens, bowls, etc. this sandpaper is perfect for those jobs - no wastage, easy to handle, and it has finer grits that are hard to find in sheets at a hardware store. the dispenser it convenient to use - do not have to take my gloves off, just pull and tear on the metal edge.
