Powerful scrub brush

Great veggie brush

This small brush is excellent for scrubbing veggies under normal household conditions. It fits the hand well and does a good job on carrots and potatoes. Economic and long lasting if it is cleaned after each use.

The only one in America

I have been using these for years and unlike the British brushes, we seem to like soft bristles. Your potatoes and veggies will always look scrubbed if you this one.

Working well for me so far.

I bought this mainly for cleaning potatoes and it seems to work well. Seems to be sturdy and well made. Prior to this I was just using my bare hand to scrub or maybe a paper towel. As a single person I buy a lot of convenience foods but recently started buying fresh potatoes both to save money and for healthier meals. I like to cut them up and use a microwave steamer I also bought from Amazon. A little melted butter and some salt and pepper and they are delicious. This brush makes it much easier to clean my potatoes and has a little pointy nub for digging out a small bad spot. It has two sets of bristles. The firm ones work great for potatoes and I'm sure would work well for any relatively hard veggy like carrots etc. The softer bristles work for tomatos etc. as long as they are not too ripe. I have only used it about 5 or 6 times so far but it seems like it will last a long time. It was relatively cheap and when it seems to be waring out I will order another if still available. I recommend it.

Gets the job done. Survived the dishwasher.

Works like it should! Nothing exciting. Never had a veggie scrubber so can’t compare. The stiff bristles are stiff. The soft bristles are soft and flexible. Not sure if it’s truly dishwasher safe but one or two runs in ours didn’t change it, except don’t let the soft bristles press against anything for terribly long. Ours got distorted from letting that happen. They went back into shape eventually so that’s a good sign to me.

I Love This Multi-use Brush

My mother-in-law mailed me one of these brushes. I liked it so much I purchased another one. I use one for vegetables and the other for dishes, pots, and pans. They do a great job of scrubbing the vegetables without damaging them. There's a little v-shaped tab thing that sticks out between the green and white part that is useful to dig out a potato eye or bad part of a vegetable; it also works well to loosen a large stuck-on piece of food from dishes. The shape of the brush fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. The non-skid material that the green part is made of adds stability -- I don't lose my grip and the brush stays in place even when scrubbing a curved part of a vegetable or food on dishes that require vigorous scrubbing.

Great mix of soft and coarse bristles.

This brush is terrific. It joins a soft "mushroom brush" with a stiffer vegetable brush. Easy to hold and use.
