Definitely will repurchase in other sizes

Easy to use, easy to clean. Feels super sturdy. Works like a charm with super cold chunky cookie dough, and i use it all the time to make salmon patties and pancakes, etc.

Pretty good scooper

There's a lot to like about this scooper. Its easy to use, looks nice, and makes a consistent sized cookie (its not big enough for muffins or scones). It cleans up nicely. My left handed husband can use it just as easily as I can. I like that the size is marked very clearly, which is handy if you own multiple scoopers. The only thing I dislike is that it doesn't even try to follow standard scooping sizes that typically come numbered. As far as I can tell this is somewhere between a 20 and a 24. But given that most scoopers come with that type measurement, it would have been great if this had. If you don't care about that, its probably a five star product for you.

It hasn’t broken yet

I have purchased so many of these cookie scoopers to have them break on the very first scoop. This one is still intact and it’s a bit more sturdy

Sticks a bit

When doing an entire batch of cookies, the mechanism that you use to release the scoop starts to stick a bit when you squeeze the handle. Sort of a “gear grinding” situation

This is the best cookie scoop I have ever used!

I finally had to buy a new cookie scoop. My old one had gotten pitted and my dough always stuck to it ... it was driving me mad. I looked around and saw the reviews for this scoop and I just had to see if it was really that special - and it really is! I have never experienced an easier scoop to use. For cookies - I haven't even tried it on ice cream and actually I never will. I bought this for cookies which I make every weekend (I'm vegan). If you are looking for a good cookie scoop, do yourself a favor - get a great one!

Super sturdy and reliable scoop

Update: It has been 10 months since I bought this bad boy and it's still going strong. Literally dozens of dough types have done battle with this beast and lost. Pudding cookie dough, stuffed cookie dough, chilled cookie dough, chunky cookie dough, you name it, this scoop has given it a what-for! I love mine. It sucks that some people are getting ones that break, but mine is a trooper, and I'm not gentle on kitchen tools. It's still super comfortable to use, easy to eject even the thickest of doughs, and it cleans up easy. I plan on loving this thing to death, be that it's or mine. Original review: Okay, so I had a Wilton scoop of the same size, and that thing lasted me all of maybe 2 weeks. The dough would get stuck in it, it took enormous hand strength to squeeze the dough out, it was a nightmare. Not this one! I don't know about the difference in designs, but his one definitely FEELS way sturdier. It takes less effort to squeeze the dough out, and my hand hurts way less at he end of a large batch of cookies. It cleans up super easy with just hot water and is dishwasher safe. I've had it for over a month now and really love it. It stands up to my thickest and chunkiest cookie doughs and still works and feels like new. The ergonomics of the handle feel good in your grip, and it never gets all jammed up like my other one. 10/10 would recommend.

I am so glad I read reviews before buying!!

So lately I wanted to buy my first cookie scoop! I didn’t have to compare so much between different brands to figure which would be the perfect one. This cookie scoop from prep solutions is simply wonderful and sturdy. I made a first batch of cookies which I had to refrigerate prior of scooping them. Wow! and since the dough was quite sticky I noticed how easy the scoop was releasing it! I was much impressed by it also because of the beautiful uniformity of the cookies. Anyways, get it you will not be deceived and it cleans very well!

Great for cookie prep

Can’t comment on sturdiness because it hasn’t been used very long. But the product functions as it should. The size is a little bit smaller than the one it was replacing (also a tablespoon size). but since I use it mostly for cookie dough that’s probably a good thing. Edit: I’ve been using it for 2 years now and it still works like new. So I added a star.

Time saver for bulk baking!

I bought this device to use for making cookies for our church bazaar - I needed to measure out exactly 1 Tablespoon of shortbread dough per cookie. Its initial run was more than 60 dozen cookies. It was much faster and more accurate than using a measuring spoon and spatula. It seems very well-made and durable. The only possible complaint I could have is that was that it was usually necessary to do two "sweeps" to eject the shortbread dough, but that may have been more the fault of the dough than the scoop. I look forward to trying it on other recipes. I can recommend this product.
