Big 'ol cake cover that serves it's purpose!
I bought this more for the fact that it was a collapsible cake cover rather than a cupcake carrier. Collapsible cake covers are hard to find and since I bake a cake a few times a month, I needed to store it in something that would keep it fresh. This was a bit pricey at over $40, but it worked, and boy is it big! It kept my pound cake fresh and soft all week! You can see in the pics my 8" off to the side of the carrier plate, and notice just how much space is still left. Could easily hold 10" round several layers high. However, I noticed that I would only need to extend the cover if I am making a high 2-3 layer cake. Otherwise, I was able to still used it "collapsed" and the top never touched my cake. At 15" in diameter I need to store it in my linen closet because I just don't have that large of a space in my cabinets. It looks sturdy enough to last me several years.

Sturdy and versatile
I love that this carrier is so well-built and sturdy. I trust the build enough to hold it by the handles only, as opposed to some other carriers I've tried where I hold from the bottom because I don't trust it enough! I also like how you can use it to carry cupcakes or cakes, as the cupcake holder portion is removable. It is a bulky-ish item, even when collapsed, but if it's something you will need to use, there's not a better product!

Great carrier - but not dishwasher safe.
This is a great collapsible carrier. But it is not dishwasher safe, as is advertised. After the first trip through the dishwasher, the base is irreparably warped. It's fine for carrying cookies or bars, but I can't imagine wanting to put a cake or tart on a base that is no longer flat. It also makes it difficult to lock the lid. This is incredibly disappointing, especially since this cake carrier is at a relatively high price point.

Good enough
So I really like this is big enough for a cake and cupcakes the only downside is that it doesn't really close on the side completely but not a big deal gets the job done 10/10 money very well spend

Better than I expected!
I have used this a few times. It travels well and has plenty of height between layers. The bottom layer will slide around when the lid is off but once the lid is on it’s not moving at all. It’s pretty big even when collapsed.

Large and in charge
I wanted to use this at home and in the rare event that I travel with a ton of cupcakes. It's a great carrier for sure- It's just HUGE ! I mean it takes up space that I did not have in my apartment/ kitchen. Even when it collapses -its still much of a unit that has a big footprint. As a newly minted baker during the pandemic - This is not something that I would need or frequently is It's a good item -if you need it and have the space. It's sturdy and had dual use for cakes and cupcakes

Great features, but could be a little more sturdy
I like that it’s collapsible. Definitely saves space! I’ve had some trouble keeping the clasps locked though. If you don’t get them on just right, then it doesn’t stay. I also really like the double layer feature. Could probably use the layers for two pies as well instead of cupcakes. The layers are resting on top of each other with 3 little legs that collapse as well. They don’t seem extremely sturdy though and there isn’t much to keep it in place. Overall i think it will do the job, but I’m a little nervous to have it packed with goodies and have them all stay in place. We will see!

This is a good piece but it’s not perfect
This works well for storing a cake or cupcakes. I like the secure attachment of the lid and it carries well when transporting. There is a bit of an issue that the lid will get stuck to the bottom cupcake tray and then is jarring to remove which sometimes blemishes a cupcake or too. It’s not a huge problem but the dimensions of each individual piece could be improved. That said, I use this a lot. It fits in the fridge and keeps my baking fresh.

Practico
Es muy practico y ahorra espacio, con mucho peso no se siente seguro agarrarlo de la asa pero en grao cumple bien. El espacio de los cupcakes es muy pequeño, para los capacillos estándar queda pequeño
