Perfect for kids/teens!
I bought these for my kids to use on our Disneyland trip. They worked great! Kids stayed hydrated and we only needed to refill once, which was easy to do. Plus, there are multiple storage areas (with zippers!) to store their cell phones, room keys, and wallets! They worked absolutely perfectly, except that you have to take them off for most rides which was a slight inconvenience.

Okay quality for a kid’s bag
I took off one star because the water pouch is super thin and I don’t expect it to last long at all. The twist on lid feels like it would break easily. The size is good for a kid. I ended up returning this bag to find another one that’s better quality.

Great for kids!!
We were told to have my daughter drink 2L of water a day for health reasons.. we were struggling not only getting her to drink that much but also to keep track of how much she drank. So we ordered this.. amazing!! It's light weight (she is a very petite 5yo), holds a lot, even has pockets for all her junk!

The bag is great - perfect size for a 5yo and has plenty of pockets for snacks and small things to take along. The bladder is atrocious. You have to screw the LONG hose into the bottom - it doesn't snap in like mine - and it leaks if you don't get the hose in right. Plus the hose is WAY TOO LONG, just like so many other reviewers have said. It hangs down to the kid's knees! Why would I want it that long? It also leaks from the mouthpiece for a few seconds after it is locked. All of the water pooled in the mouthpiece starts to drip out...Unfortunate when you're hiking in 20-degree weather and it gets your kid's clothes wet! We might seek out a new bladder and keep the bag. The bladder is also a PITA to get into the bag. You have to pull a velcro piece up and hold it out of the way with one hand while you try to insert the bladder with the other, then you have to push two knobs through 2 small holes, while still holding the velcro out of the way, and lock the knobs in place so that the bag stay erect. Doesn't feel like they really thought this thing through. Of course, my kid doesn't deal with any of this hassle and gets to carry his own snacks, and thinks the bag is the bees' knees. So it's worth it.

Great pack for my 7 year old
Good hydration pack for kids. Not high quality, but you can't expect that at this price point. It has been perfect for my 7 year old. We hike quite a bit and he loves it.

Disney must!
3 Boys used these during a week in the sun and heat at Disney. I’m beyond satisfied with them after a highly used week. Didn’t have any of the issues I’ve had in the past with Camelbacks- these did not leak, carried well on the boys shoulders, and had amble accessory pockets for snacks and wallets. These definitely were a must have to keep kids hydrated at the park for all day adventures.

Too small for fall/spring hikes - 3.5L
I really wanted to like this backpack because it seemed to have everything my kids would need. But it's just too small to hold a jacket or fleece and tuque for my almost 7 year old. When it arrived, I saw that the "roomy main compartment" is actually 3.5L which is significantly smaller than the child size backpacks we'd been using which are around 7-10L. I worried that once the 1.5L bladder was filled, that would only leave 2L of space. We tried stuffing his jacket in and it barely fit with no water. It's just not going to work for fall and spring hikes where we need the space for extra layers. Would be fine for warm weather hikes or bike trips if that's all you are doing.

Très surprise par la qualité vu le prix.
Je cherchais un sac-gourde pour enfant car nous effectuons beaucoup de randonnées à vélo ou en montagne. Je voulais un espace suffisant pour que les enfants puissent porter eux-mêmes leur lunch et quelques effets en plus de leur eau. Ce sac me semble être solide et les matériaux de bonne qualité. J'ai été agréablement surprise par la taille des poches de rangement (il y en a 3 en plus de l'espace pour la poche d'hydratation). Les bretelles en filet m'ont bloquée un peu au départ, mais à la réception du sac, j'ai pu voir que les mailles semblent assez résistantes. Il est clair que ce sac n'est pas fait pour de lourdes charges par contre, mais il est conçu pour des enfants. L'usage régulier sera le test ultime...

Poor quality bag and bladder
My 5-year-old was so excited to get this bag. We’ve used it twice and both times, his back ended up wet because the bladder seems to have a slow leak. And after a 2-hour walk today, we noticed a rip in the strap. Sadly, we’re one day past the return date. Not sure if this bag is a defect but very disappointed with the quality.

The bag is and pretty suitable for my 5 year old granddaughter. The first bag you sent was faulty. Amazon replaced it very quickly (2 days I think) at no cost to me, and the return process is very easy. Great! When I received the new bag, it was unused/unopened and no faults, great! My reason for 1 star is that the original bag sent to me was clearly a faulty return from someone else. Amazon did you really think I wouldn't notice?! Or did you hope I wouldn't bother to return it? What a waste of time for me, your staff to have to go through the returns process, not to mention a terrible waste of resources. This is not the first time this has happened to me, sending used/known damaged goods without informing the customer is deceitful, and only harms your reputation.

Great little pack, cheap flimsy bladder!
This is a great size little backpack for my 8 year old. She loves the colors and the pack itself seems well made. The hydration bladder however is another story. It is cheap and flimsy. I am quite disappointed in the quality. So far I haven’t been able to get the cap on in a way that it doesn’t leak. I bought this partly because of how much cheaper it was then some of it’s competitors, however by the time I pay for a quality bladder I will be close to the same price point. So, if the bladder quality is important to you, spend more on a different brand.
