Nice cost effective box

I use it to hold a trail cam so the lenses don’t get damaged or scratched. Works perfect for that. Just added a little foam to keep the cam from rattling around. Not as sturdy as a Pelican case, but doesn’t cost nearly as much either. Now I can just throw the box with trail cam in with my other camping stuff and not worry about it getting damaged. Good light/medium duty box.

This box is being kept outside as part of a geocache, looks like its holding up great so far and waterproof!

The latches don’t last forever.

I have purchased 5 or 6 of these dry boxes and I love them. My only issue is that the latches eventually break, although it may be a few years to be fair. I have replaced three boxes due to broken latches. Typically one latch breaks so it’s still usable but I’d rather not risk it. Other than that these are fantastic for phones, glasses etc. great size and durable.

It works great

This little box is well built, sturdy, and has been great to have when we go jet skiing, it fits perfectly in the little compartment of the ski, it keeps my cell phone, wallet and keys safe and water tight. I have used it since I got it about six months ago and it doesn't show any wear even though I have used it in salt water environments. I highly recommend this product.

Great bear country lunch box

I used this as a lunchbox while backpacking since it’s air tight and it was the perfect size and great durability. Occasionally it would be really sealed shut and hard to open, but if you push down hard on the area between the latches you can force air in to reduce the pressure and open the box. Make sure you can unseal the box before you put any valuables in it.

Excellent Box!

The size should be provided in the description. I wanted to find a watertight box for a first aid kit for my boat, and almost passed on this item because of the lack of dimensions. Then I read one of the reviews where the author had used it for their first aid kit and found it large enough. SO I took a chance and ordered it. I'm glad that I did. The outside dimensions are about 7 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and 4 inches high. I say "about" because the box is slightly tapered from top to bottom. It's actually a bit larger in width and depth because of the latches, hinge, and attachment points for a lanyard. I measured at about the center point of the dimensions, and the interior is a bit smaller to allow for the thickness of the plastic. This is well constructed box of heavy grade clear plastic with a steel pin for the hinge and solid latches with a waterproof sealing gasket. There is a rubber lanyard on one end and an attachment point on the opposite end for a second lanyard. Warning labels on the box state the item cannot be used in a microwave, and it should not be submerged. Given that there is a sealing gasket, I'm guess the warning about being submerged means not to use it scuba diving - I doesn't look like it will withstand too much sea pressure. I packed all the items I want to carry for a well-stocked first aid kit and there was plenty of room. Having a clear plastic box means I was able to arrange my items so the labels could be seen from the outside of the box on each side and less chance of forgetting what I have inside.

Well-Built and Amazing

This could be the strangest review you've read on Amazon. I purchased this product by mistake. It was the correct box, but the wrong size. I realized I made the mistake early in the order process, so I probably could have stopped it from shipping to me. But I didn't. I'm sure glad I made the mistake once I got my hands on the correct sized box. I found the exact size I needed at a local mass merchandise store, so I had what I needed about a week before this box made it. Once the larger one arrived, I immediately saw that it had multiple uses for all the outdoor activities I do throughout the year. It's even perfect for home use. Say you have some important papers or objects that could get harmed by a leaking pipe or a sudden flood. Bingo - this box will save the day and your possessions. It's fantastic quality. By the way, I'm using the smaller size of this box as a case for a portable ham radio that I can put in a backpack. It has its own self-contained power supply, and I can use it to talk to people around the world out in the woods, on a mountain top or just about anywhere. Everything you need, except for the thin roll-up antenna, is inside the tiny clear waterproof case. Can you believe that? If you want to see the radio once complete, just go to my ham radio website. Size difference between small &large.

Using these for some emergency Go Bags to keep FirstAid supplies dry and sanitary as well as some electronics. I like the transparency of the plastic. So I can see what's in them at a glance. Large is pretty small & the small orange one is molecular. Wouldn't hold a phone or even a walkie-talkie. The large blue however JUST fits my Galaxy 10+ ultra. No comment on functionality. It seems to be solid.

Light, watertight, easy to use.

This is a proper water tight container with easy to open snap latches. I got it to clean various items by placing in a cleaning solution or water. There is no leakage at all. Seal is very effective. The latches are easy to open and close with very little likelihood of a latch accidentally opening. The size, and trasparency is adequate for my needs. I do reccomend it.
