Perfect for support

I have had the left one for quite a while. It has always been perfect. Having recently been diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both arms, I decided to purchase the right one also. It is a perfect item for me. Perfect support, very comfortable.

Very supportive

I had ORIF on my scaphoid bone four weeks ago. I am finally out of the splint and in a brace. I have purchased several braces because I will need to return to work in a brace, and The nature of my job might necessitate changing mid shift…this is my favorite one for stability. The rigidity feels protective, and I like the length. It is well made, and I am very pleased with this. It is a little more bulky than my other favorite (air cast), but, it is definitely very supportive. Hooray!

Really good fit and a good buy

My husband liked that it was similar to the one he got by prescription. It fit a little snug at first but it was new. Fits fine now. It was just what he needed for wrist support. Wielding a hammer and construction tools for years took a toll on wrist strength but it does help. He likes it a lot.

Great for daytime wear for broken wrist

Wore this during the day for 6 weeks after breaking wrist. It was shorter than the ER issued one I wore at night. This one allowed me to move more easily after 2 weeks’ healing, and not be as warm working outside in the summer.

great wrist brace

Hi bought this because my first one got lost. I have both a right and a left brace of this version. I love it. I am a small adult and it fits the best out of any I have tried. It is comfortable and easy to use. The only issue I have with it is the cloth/thread inside does have a tendency to unfray around my hand. That part needs to be made stronger. My husband has used this brace when he needed it. He adjusted it easily to what he needed. What I really liked is when I used it again after him, it had not stretched so I was able to use it no problem. I use it to help manage pain in my right arm due to: tendonitis, arthritis (in my hands) and carpal tunnel. I use it for my left hand to help manage the pain due to arthritis and carpal tunnel. When I start hurting I put it on and most times the pain goes away, otherwise it decreases the pain enough that I don't have to take pain pills. I highly recommend it for any type of wrist pain. It keeps the wrist/arm straight but still allows you to do things.

Almost, but not quite.

I really liked this brace. It's very padded and comfortable. But there are some things I don't like: First off, it says "one size fits all". My wrist is apparently smaller than OSFA. It was a little too big when I first got it, but now, 3 months later, the elasticity of the strap has loosened and I can no longer tighten it enough to provide adequate support. That brings me to the strap. There's only one Velcro strap on the wrist/forearm portion of the brace, which limits the amount of support. It would've been nice if the 4 elastic cords were divided into 2 straps, instead of one. I found that I needed more support on my wrist than the one strap allowed. While the padding was indeed comfortable, it makes the brace much bulkier than most braces. Not a big deal except the amount of padding gets in the way of the support and structure I need. I have neuropathy and I really needed a brace that completely immobilizes my wrist. This brace unfortunately doesn't fit the bill.

Do NOT purchase this unless you know for sure that you will like it!!!!!

I needed a new brace as the one I have had for several years was showing the worn out look of a cowboy that has been herding cattle across the Sierra Nevada hills for a week solid. I thought I would try a different (less expensive) one since pretty much everything can be returned on Amazon. I received it, took it out of the box, and tried it on for like 5 seconds. Within the first second I knew I did not like it but I still gave four more seconds in the off chance that it would turn out better. It did not.... So I take my butt over to the return section of Amazon to request a return on it and was promptly told that it was a non-returnable item. Now here is the thing, I would be completely understanding of this policy if it were spelled out plainly in the description that it was not returnable. Of course it does not do that. It actually looks like it IS "eligible for refund or replacement" as there is a button that says that EXACT thing! But then when you click on the button it tells you it is indeed "non-returnable". These are like shoes. You cannot possibly know if they are the right size without trying them on. This is a terrible business practice!!!!

Decent brace for wrist sprain

This brace has stabilized my wrist and is helping my sprain to heal. I like that I can remove the aluminum piece that goes up onto your palm. My sprain is going from side to side, not front to back, so I don't need this piece and it's more comfortable and fits better without it. You can also move the stabilizer on the side if necessary. I'm only giving it 4 stars though because I would challenge that it's one size fits all. I have large hands for a woman. The part that goes over your hand is very big, but the part that goes around your arm is rather tight. Since I've been wearing it for a few weeks, the part that goes around my arm has stretched out a bit, but they do would better making this in more than one size to fit a little better. It would be nice if there were instructions included as well as to the correct way to put it on. My EMT friend helped me and we still had to play around with it. It looked like the elastic should go on the under side of your arm, but it actually goes on the side. I'm using a right handed one and it goes under the side of my thumb.

It doesn't allow your wrist to go up and down. If you need real protection for your wrist, this is what you need.
