Great stuff!!

I have been dealing with shin splints for years, I play soccer at least twice a week, tried so many different remedies but nothing worked like this. This wrap is awesome, used twice so far and it really helped. I recommend this product!!!

Good idea, but not good

no matter what you do, in any position, or any attempt, they cannot be wrapped tight enough so that even the slightest movement won't knock them off. I wear them under sweatpants and EVERY time the simple act of putting on the sweatpants knock them around. Im sure when summer arrives and I don't wear the sweatpants, a simple breeze will knock them off. I think it's the fact that there are two velcro latches instead of just one. Poor design makes one latch always looser when it's affixed. Bummer, because I love the idea of the foam piece on the shin splint (although one of the foam pieces lost its stitching right away and i have to glue it back together after nearly every workout.

Do you suffer from "Peroneal Brevis" Tendon Injuries?

this brace is the only one that I am aware of that has a vertical band that will protect your shin and tendons pulling away. My problem has been on the outside of my fibula (Peroneal Tendons) where these tendons want to pull away from the bone because the roads I run and walk on our crowned. Ever since i started wearing this brace I have suffered intense rashes and even bacterial infections due to the heat of this brace and my skin's reaction to the neoprene. My concern is that the content of the brace has more rubber in it than we are led to believe. To date I've gone on oral antibiotics and I've used 2% miconazole cream yet I still have issues even with a sleeve underneath it. It's not to say that it doesn't have its strengths but my worry is it's just too allergic to my skin. I would recommend using some sort of A&D protective Vaseline like salve between the skin and a sleeve and then place the wrap over it but even that may not be enough. I know many people who have neoprene or latex allergy or skin sensitivity which is called "contact dermatitis" that's what I've experienced. Thank you ProTec for making this brace but maybe the material in the brace needs to be refined to not include as much rubber or elastic material that can be sensitive to the skin under heat and friction.

This splint compression wrap is not made to fit plus size people. The product itself is very nice and would be great for your average size person.

Very effective

Saved me so many times in multiple ultra races. As soon as I start to feel pain I’ll throw it on and instantly relieves pain. If you’ve been dealing with shin splints for a while and the pain is bad, wear it anytime your shins hurt for at least two weeks. And also decrease your speed/effort on runs and have patience. It will work.

Wear a long sock when using this item

My husband is suffering from shin splint and wears this every day. It helps a lot however you need to wear a long sock when wearing the brace as it rubs and irritates the area. Highly recommend this product

A gift from the heavens

God Bless these wraps, my shins splints were so bad that out of my 60 minute ball hockey game i could only play for maybe 20 minutes before my shin splints would kick in and kick in BAD. The pain would leave me in discomfort for usually 24-48 hrs. Baseball was worse my shins couldnt handle the impact of running in cleats. I bought these hoping for the best and boy was i not disappointed. I can play hockey now for as long as i want (even on back to back days) and baseball is a breeze with these on. You might still be hurting the next day but the recovery is also alot faster i find. If it were not for these wraps i probably would have had to stop playing those sports
