So far, so good
I just got these bowls for my pup, so I figured I'd do a quick review with my initial observations. I already had several stainless steel bowls (the only way to go), but my guy had long since ripped off the rubber trim along the bottom when he was a puppy with the need to chew, so even with a non-slip mat, they had a tendency to slip around while he was eating. Plus, the bowls were very shallow, which was a pain with water because if mostly full, water would slosh everywhere on the journey to the sink. These looked like a good alternate option - deeper, with an entirely rubber base. As noted by many other reviewers, the sticker is in fact in the bottom inside of the bowl. I had no problem peeling them off with no sticky residue. I'd advise you to take it slow! If I did have issues, I would have used some de-solveit or goo gone, and I think it would have peeled right off. So far, I've only handwashed the bowls, and they seem fine. There is very little slipping on his mat, which is great. He eats a raw, home-made diet, which tends to stick to the sides, so he is pretty aggressive with the bowls and I am impressed that they more or less stay in place! The rubber bottom has a funky smell that I am hoping will dissipate with more use. If not, that will be a cause for rating downgrade as it is a pretty foul smell. Seeing as I've only had them for five full days, and the smell is lessening each day, I am optimistic. So far, good buy for the price. I would recommend getting a size larger than you think. My pup is about 60 pounds, and the 30 ounce had a perfect width for the opening, and depth. Although I considered the 16 ounce, it would have been way too tiny for my guy. I think you could safely size up the 52 ounce if you have a dog in the 50+ pound range.

Excellent
At the beginning of the year I took possession of an old boarding kennel that needs massive upgrades so purchased 15 of the 52 ounce and 15 of the 30 ounce bowls. After seeing these in person I'll be ordering the other sizes as well. After reading some of the reviews I'll put in my two-cents....They seem very sturdy. There are no sharp edges and nothing to harm the dogs that I can see or feel. Yes, there is a rubber tire odor and I have no idea if that will dissipate or not but given my situation it doesn't matter. The dogs are all eating readily with no hesitation so obviously, any odor isn't bothering them. They also don't slide on the concrete while the dog is eating. As to the labels, yes, some are hard to remove and some peel out with no trouble but I soaked the labels in warm water and dawn dish soap for about 30 minutes and used my thumb nail to scrape out what I could easily remove then dumped the soapy water, added another dollop of dawn and scrubbed with a nylon scour pad until all remaining label and residue was gone. Rinsed well and set to dry on a towel. Only took 1 to 2 minutes per bowl and no sign of any residue to be seen. Also the nylon scour pad doesn't seem to have caused any damage to the surface. The label does say "lifetime guarantee" so if anyone has problems they should contact the seller for replacement or refund. I haven't had these bowls very long and will definitely update this review as necessary. March 3, 2015 update; I needed smaller bowls for my business but found a great price elsewhere that was offering a first-time purchase discount so ordered a bunch of the 9 oz, 16 oz and 88 oz bowls, which arrived today. All 12 of the 9 oz bowls had labels that peeled out easily with NO residue or scrubbing necessary. A few of the 16 oz bowls also had labels that were easy to remove but some did require scrubbing as I mention above; maybe these bowls were truly newer stock and someone read all the complaints about tough-to-remove-labels. The 88 oz bowls had labels that were definitely tougher and took far more time to remove than any of the others.

This is a great dog bowl that I highly recommend
This is a great dog bowl that I highly recommend. We have two small dogs ( 25 lbs each approximately) and they both eat and drink out of these bowls. We have hard wood floor, so the grip on the bottom of the bowls is a wonderful addition. We have one dog that likes to grab the food from the bowls and then run away to a "safe" eating spot. The grip on the bottom does a great job of keeping the bowl in place and prevents kibbles from flying all over the floor when my dog is running back and forth from the bowl to his eating spot. Additionally these are easy to clean, I simply empty the contents, and rinse some water and wipe away any excess. I have read that some of the other reviewers have experienced cracking or damage down to their bowls, but I have yet to see any of that we have had the bowls for over a year. Not sure if ours last because our dogs our on the smaller side. We probably won't be needing new bowls for our pups anytime soon, but if for whatever reason we might need new ones, I would be coming back and getting another set of these stainless steel bowls!

Not the same bowl
I have ordered several of these bowls in the past and thought I would be getting the same bowl.....this bowl is not the same quality as the previous bowls. The material seems thinner and more of a polished finish....not the older more durable material. Plus it takes a while to get the sticker/sticker residue out of the bottom of the bowl..... It's not worth the trouble to return this bowl but I'll definitely buy my next bowl in person as opposed to ordering another one of these bowls.

Would have given 5 stars if sticker was easily removed
This is actually a great bowl. 88 ounce is great for out Great Dane puppy. He'll be able to have it for a long time. I bought two of them. As I read in other reviews, the sticker is hard to remove, I still opted to buy it. Here's what I did to remove it. I first removed the majority of the label, then I soaked the left over glue and residue with some all purpose cleaner. Then I poured hot water in and soaked for about 10 minutes. I scraped most of the glue off with a flat plastic edge. Then I poured rubbing alcohol on the rest and used a scour sponge to remove the remaining. Give it a really good clean after all of this. Took about 10 minutes. The company really should opt for another sticker as it will prevent some from purchasing it and it is a good bowl, very functional and the rubber has a good stickiness to it. I would recommend it.

Looks great and good quality
Great product. We use these bowls for feeding our dogs raw food and theyre easy to clean, never slide around and look great. Been using them 2x a day for over a year (handwashed after every use) and the rubber bottom is still in perfect shape. Not sure how they would hold up if going through the dishwasher on a regular basis but the handful of times we've put then through they came out fine.
