Last a long time & look cool

The tread on these isn’t the most grippy, but I’m more looking for durability than grip. Perfect tire for bashing and general use.

Good street tires they still balloon after 35 mph or with any good brushless set ups.

Not very grippy in cool temps.

I was hoping that these would give me a traction increase for speed runs over the stock Blackout SC tires I have been running. They are a dismal failure. Granted, the temp is on the cool side, but the Volcano will wheelie at will on the Blackout tires on or off road. These tires are virtually identical size and width with the Blackouts. These tires loose traction and no wheelies at all. I think they might work well on clay, but I cannot confirm such. I can definitely say if you need a tire that grips al lower temps like 50 ish, the stock 50 X 105 mm blackout tires are better by far. Also these wheel/tires are about 23 grams heavier per tire (92 for all 4) over the blackout combo. I am going to up the pinion gear 1 or 2 teeth and wait for warmer weather. Hopefully they will work better then. So I took the rig out again today. The air temp was 65, and the sun was shining brightly, so the street temp was much higher. These tires hooked up well under these conditions. I tried it again after the sun went down and the traction was gone again. So the bottom line is these tires are very temperature sensitive. Any surface temp under 70F will probably not work well.
