9 Years using daily and still strong!
Had this since 2014. Have commented many times how good of a purchase this gate was, so decided to finally make a review! The dogs have knocked it over probably 200 times. Crashed through it another 50 times. In the original place I had it, I actually put hook and eye bolts on it so it stayed stretched across the threshold I wanted the dogs out of, while I still used the door feature. The last few years we have had it between what is sort of the living room and the kitchen. We do not use the door anymore, so I actually zip tied that shut. We just move one panel and go through like that. Works great for keeping our dogs in whatever side we want them to be. A couple times over the 9 years one of the top pieces came undone (this actually happened today) but is a simple fix with a bit of wood glue.

Solid and ready to go out of the box
Arrived in one day, it came ready to unfold right out of the box, zero assembly, and looks so beautiful in the white shade. The gate is so simple to lock and unlock, that my toddler figured it out in two seconds. Each of the three panels moves in both directions so that you can customize the space you are using it for to keep people or animals in or out! I also use it against or around the base of our standard staircase. It's perfect! You get what you pay for, in this case high quality and easy to use, no assembly. What more could you want?

Perfect for our pup
Love the flexibility in configuration to where you need it. It’s well made and looks nice. The feet protect your hardwood floors from scratching. Only reason for one less star is the weight- but that’s why it works so well. Our dog is generally compliant and doesn’t attempt to jump it (though he could). I can see how a dog could jump or climb over this is really motivated.

Wonderful puppy gates
I really like these gates. We bought 2 sets in white. They were easy to install and constructed well. The gate lock was super easy to install. I highly recommend these gates

So far, quality is good -- would definitely recommend
We've had this for 3 months now, and we moved it around the house multiple times a day as we have been going through a remodel, and we need to cordon off different areas from the dogs depending upon where there contractors are throughout the day. The spring-loaded gate feature has also been used many times per day. We even threw it in the trunk and took it on a 7 hour road trip so we could cordon off part of the AirBnB house we were staying at. After three months gate is holding up well, as is the spring loaded mechanism. It looks good, and overall the paint/stain job is good, but there are some minor imperfections - Whereas all the rest of the gate is sanded to a smooth perfection, the top end of one vertical piece appears to be rough cut (never sanded) and was stained without having been sanded. In some small areas it looks like they applied a lighter coat of stain. -- neither of these were big enough to warrant a return of the item. There have been some very small chips that have appeared where the panels meet eachother (i.e. close to the hinges). With the moving of the gate from room to room, we fold the gate up and then unfold it to reshape it to the new room/entryway each time, and the wood touches wood during this process, and this is likely the cause of these very small chips. Fortunately the contractors are gone, so we will be moving the gate less frequently, and thus I don't expect any new chips to appear (these chips are small enough that a furniture marker should disguise them). I'll try to remember to update the review in 6 months or a year to see how it has held up over the long term, but my guess is it will hold up just fine as it seems pretty solidly built. In two pics you can see the size of the 4-panel gate with my 70lb dog standing in front of it. In another pic you can see the small chip by one of the hinges, and in another you can see that where one of the bottom bars meets one of the vertical bars that the stain is lighter, and finally in one you can see where one of the top vertical pieces wasn't fully sanded before being painted/stained.

Beautiful, functional, very sturdy
Really love this fence/gate. I actually bought it four years ago and just came back to get another. I have used it literally non-stop since I got it--it stands at the top of my stairs and I use it to keep my dogs on the same level of the house with me. I fold it up and lean it against the wall, put it back into place, move it to span different spaces at the top of the stairs, open/close the gate, leave the gate open... The biggest complaint I have is that the gate is relatively narrow, one cannot quite walk straight through and have to go in at a slight angle, but really I've gotten used to this. The other issue I have had occasionally is the little lever at the top loosening from time to time but that's easily remedied by just remembering to tighten it a few times a year. I'm back shopping for another one after an accident with a large dog and a large suitcase attempting to go through the gate at the same time from two different directions--not surprisingly they don't fit through together--the opposing forces caused the fence to snap at its only weak point where the gate closes. So now I have a panel with free-swinging gate attached (no longer useful), and two panels still connected. I could still use the existing hinges to put together a 3-panel gate with no door, which would work fine but I just love the ease of opening the gate... so I must get another before my dogs decide to abuse their new freedom. The gate is quite sturdy for normal use and nothing short of metal could have withstood the punishment it was put through that finally broke it after 4 years of constant use. Last but not least, it's very attractive with a lovely wood grain and stain in a reddish color, and I have liked the way it looks since the day I got it, which is why I must get this one again specifically as most others don't appear to be as lovely.

Love it
I love this fence. I have 3 little yorkies that run to the front door. When someone comes to my door. Trying to get them up so they don’t run out was crazy. This fence fits just right at my front door. And the gate makes it so easy to get in and out. It’s sturdy and the wood is a beautiful walnut color. Looks great in my living room. I would give this 5 stars plus.

Keeps the cats away from the front door
We got this gate after one of our adult cats snuck out as a guest was leaving the front door. It provides a good cat-free buffer zone so people can open the door without us having to worry. The gaps between the bars are also narrow enough to keep our 2 month old kitten from squeezing through. The hinges bend in both directions so this can be easily folded and put away, or be easily customized for areas with different dimensions.

Heavy, fully assembled, not bad looking.
The six month old kitten had been trying to sneak out of the front door by tailgating me as I leave the house, and I purchased this to stop her. She can jump over the gate if she's determined but that gives me enough notice to stop her from darting out of the door. The gate itself is heavy and stands on its own pretty well. It also arrives fully assembled which is a plus. Finally, it looks much better than many of the other options available. We shall see how durable it is but for now, five stars.

Unstable and does not stand straight
Gate does not stand straight and is very unstable. The legs (sold separately which is ridiculous) are not long enough, nor are they secured to the unit. They instead, slide down over the bottom frame and constantly wiggle loose with every movement making the gate quite unstable. I bought the extra large one for my shepherd who can cause it to wobble whenever he wags his tail. I wanted to set it straight across a large doorway between the kitchen and living room, but stretching it out all the way, it leans quite a lot. The gate has to stand “zig zagged” Judy to make it stand straight.

Very happy!! Very!!
I love this 24” high fence/gate!! I use it with my two Yorkies, who ate escape artists unless well secured. They do not get by these. One is 8 lbs and the other is 5. So they are small dogs. I barricade them in the kitchen when home alone. I absolutely must have the flexibility that the 360 degree hinges offer. This extends to divide the main living room and kitchen area of my condo. I bought the gate and easily attached the extension. I also bought the feet to go with. It is much sturdier than the 30 inch one I bought a few years ago. That one often tumbled to the floor when moved, and three spindles just broke in a fashion that seemed spontaneous. I took a chance and this time ordered this set. Although most of the time the 30 inch was great, this one is better. The gate opening is wider and therefore easier to go through when needed. I actually leave it most days that way now as it doesn’t impede daily life functioning with that wide gate.

Smaller dogs might be better contained. If it wasn't attached to something on ...
We attached one side to a dog kennel (with small ty-wraps) and we fold it out to divide our open concept house and separate baby from dogs, then fold it closed when we don't need it. Works well however both dogs (labs) and 11 month baby have figured out how to push it open so it really only works under supervision as a temporary boundary. Smaller dogs might be better contained. If it wasn't attached to something on the one side it would definitely get knocked over by our large dogs. Otherwise it is fairly solid and nicely finished.
