Good replacements

After a number of years in any house, the white screws on all the plate covers tend to get either yellowed by the light or scratched due to removal. Seeing silver or yellow screws on a white cover plate drives me crazy. These were exactly what I needed to replace the fouled up screws in my house. Yes, the white coating is fragile and if you aren't somewhat careful you'll chip this coating when putting the screws in, but use a little care and you'll have no issue. I usually wrap the business end of my screw driver in some electrical tape.....takes care of the issue.

Handy but not quite white

These are great to have around for DIY types as they get lost easily. Unfortunately, these are not the same bright white as you would get with cover plates. Overall, they are fine, but a better tint would make them a really good value.

No chipped paint, good screws.

Finally I found wallplate screws that aren't all chipped up when they are delivered. I've bought others before and every time over half had the white paint chipped off the heads. In this pack I haven't seen one that's chipped yet. Very happy, and will buy again. It's an easy way to spruce up your old, chipped, dingy screws and it really makes a difference in the house (I'm a little OCD). Also, make sure the screw slots are all vertical when tightened, not just tightened haphazardly any which way (I mentioned that I'm OCD, right?). Seriously though, there's a right way and a wrong way to do things, and you'll notice the difference.

Great value and easy way to improve color consistency throughout the home. Sometimes the color chips so deducting a point for that.

Much better and more durable white finish than OEM plate screws. Useful length

These are much less likely to get chewed up by the screwdriver tip than the screws that come with standard face-plates. They finish also seems more durable than other long screws I've bought. The 1/2" length is ideal for attaching plates that need washers or spacers to adjust for out-of-true outlet boxes.

NOT FOR LOOKS (Chipped So Bad It Was Like Snow When I Opened The Pack)

I bought these to sell with some wall plates I made, but I couldn't do that because I would be ashamed to include them. They look worse than I expect spray painted screws would look with good spray paint (I'm pretty sure these are spray painted with bad spray paint). They may be solid screws, but the truth is if you buy outlet cover screws then you are buying them to look good, and these look bad. When the screws came, they were so chipped up that I had to vacuum my carpet after I opened them because of all the white flakes. The only reason it's two stars is because I bought screws and that's what they gave me. You'd be hard pressed to find a screw that's head wasn't chipped in the whole pack.
