Great cover

I bought this cage cover because my African Grey cage has 2 separate play areas and it’s huge and covers her cage all the way around and to the floor

Great cover. Much larger than you may think.

Speedy delivery. Received sooner than expected. Even though the item is exactly as described - it’s much larger than I imagined. My recommendation for anyone who plans to order this cover is to take physical measurements of your cage. Do not guess. My birds cage is 69½” top of cage to floor 39½” wide and 32” deep. It’s exactly what I ordered and there’s no reason not to keep it. Better that it’s too large than too small.

Lightweight, good size

Overall the product works but my Cockatoo has already chewed the fabric. Good size, easy to get on and off. One recommendation would be to have Velcro or snap closures for the flap sides. They don't overlap enough to keep closed. I use ips to close them

Great for quiet time

The macaw cage it fits is also pretty great. The flap that can be open or closed at the front is perfect for times when I need my bird to be quieter but don’t really want him fully covered. The flap can needs a clip on each side if you do want it fully closed as it gaps quite a bit. A couple chip clips will do.

Hair Thin Fabric

Waste of money and time, I don’t have any fabric skills so I decided to buy a cover instead of figuring out how to make one but I’m gonna have to make one anyway. First off, this is definitely only for the Empire right out of the box, we got the Silverado because of the nice decorative top and, as you can see, I’ll be buying some safety pins next to hold it up. Kitchen light offers some idea as to how thin it is, we have a sleeper cage now so they don’t have to put up with that no worries. There might as well be no cover. It’s the same in the daylight, and I can see people walking past through the fabric in both night and day. I had a huge blanket covering the top half and felt bad they could see lights and feet walking. This is literally worse than that because she can now see lights and a whole person walking. I don’t think they can justify the price at all. “It’s a lot of fabric!” but it’s so cheap and thin that the only way no one would complain is if it was like $20-30 for the thing. I’m so lazy I’d even consider buying two of these atrocities to save myself the time but I doubt layering will make any difference. I might as well buy sheer curtains as a cover, they’d probably block out more light haha.

Nice cover!

Just what I was looking for. Makes his cage nice private and dark at night. A little too long but that is ok, rather have that then too short.

Cannot recommend

Very thin material. Nothing to keep the flap closed. Snags easily. It won’t last long.
