Pretty and Homey, but too small for most rabbits
I bought this and use it as a home base for my rabbit. He's 5 lbs and spends a lot of time in there, but I leave the door open because my house is rabbit proof. He can come in and out as he pleases - his food and litter box are kept outside of the hutch. He hangs out in there to sleep, or to hide when I have people over. This would be way too small if you are not able to keep the door open! Please don't do that to your rabbit. It was easy to put together, and I think it's pretty good looking.

Small with durability uncertain long term....
I ordered the small sized hutch and it is definitely too small for any sized bunny or rabbit to be fair to them unless they had another area to run or play. It was easy to assemble but I am anxious to see how long it will stay together as the wood is not heavy. It looks nice once put together. I plan to use it for several small button quail. I did reinforce it to make it stronger/safer as well.

Was expecting better quality.
Product is not constructed well. It’s wobbles very bad, we had to reinforce the joints ourselves. It will work for a small animal that’s not very active. The look is great, it’s attractive in the yard but won’t last long.

The perfect hutch for a single small rabbit.
Let me start by clarifying that I bought this hutch on sale for $119. I did not pay the $250 "regular price." So, when I say it's a great value, keep that in mind. At the price I paid, it is well worth the money. You cannot build this product for that price, unless perhaps you are a contractor who gets a steep discount. Now, price is covered; what about the product? If you read the reviews, you'll hear about the strong odor. That is because it's natural fir wood, closed up in a box. It is NOT an unpleasant odor, and if you let it air out for an hour, it's barely noticeable, even to your rabbit. This hutch has a small enclosure, perfect for the burrowing nature of bunnies. The wire bottom on the cage is made of very small wire, which is a plus. It's big enough for waste to fall through, but not big enough to hurt a grown rabbit's feet. My dwarf rabbit is a baby, so I had to cover part of it, to protect her feet. It's a simple fix, and when she is grown, it won't be an issue. The drawer that pulls out for easy cleaning is a HUGE plus, even though the plastic is thin. It serves its purpose nicely. The top locks up--some people say that it wears out, with time. I've only just bought it, but right now, it's functioning perfectly. I say, buy it knowing that it's a possibility, and don't stick your head in the hutch without taking precautions. The top locks down with a simple hook and eye mechanism. It's not overly strong, but the only things I know of that could work the latch (raccoons) aren't going to be strong enough/big enough to open the top. All in all, for what I paid for this hutch, I'm extremely happy. It's a perfect size, a good price, and the quality I expected. Now, if I had paid double the price, I would have thought it wasn't good enough. The quality of the wood and the hardware makes it a bargain at around $100. I've done dozens of searches, in stores and online. This is a really good price for this hutch, and you cannot get a better guarantee than Amazon's.

Don't Recommend
This rabbit hutch is not very good quality. The nesting type area on the side is made completely out of wood. Rabbits tend to go to the bathroom in there which ruins the wood. The wood floor in that room collapsed and my rabbit got away for a few days which had me worried sick. The wire floor is very cheap and bends. There is not enough wire wall to fit a feeder, a water bottle, and a hay rack. It is very low to the ground which makes it easy for other animals to disturb the rabbit inside. It is too small with the room divider in, so I took it out. It turns out that that is the only thing holding the wire floor down, so it is easy for a rabbit to escape. The litter tray on the bottom got too filled with hay and poop that when I was sliding it out all of its contents were just pushed out the back onto the ground. I have had to make many repairs and modifications. I have other hutches that cost $100 more and they have lasted for 6 years with no repairs needed. The only good things are the mechanisms keeping the various doors shut. With all of the time I have spent stressing about this hutch and repairing it, I would recommend purchasing a bigger hutch. Update: Our male rabbit chewed a hole in the side of his hutch and in the side of the hutch next to it which houses a female, and now we have a pregnant rabbit.

Rabbit Hutch Rocks
This rabbit hutch is awesome. My husband bought me a rabbit for Christmas and it is a lop eared full grown bunny and we knew we wanted a good sized cage so it had enough room. I also wanted to keep our bunny inside and upstairs on our main floor. So I needed to find a stylish and nice cage. This definitely fits the bill. I even used furniture tacks to put fabric on top to match our decor. :) It is easy to clean, it has 3 spots to open to make sure you get all of the nooks and crannies clean. The pull out poop tray is great, we just replace newspaper there every day and her cage stays clean and sanitary. We love the way it has the seperate area for her to sleep or have privacy which is nice since we have 2 small kiddos. The part we love the most is the fold down ramp, this makes it so easy for her to come in and out when she wants to. It is better for the bunny to not be forced into or out of a cage so this allows us to give her that respect. We also have a breakfast nook the cage is in and we let her have the run of that area so we just leave the ramp down and she is litter trained to poop and pee only in her cage and litter box. It is perfect, only about $40 more than the smaller and less convenient pet store cages. Also it only took me 30 minutes to completely assemble it w/ only help from my 4 year old. It is very good quality wood, even my dad complimented the wood and design and he does wood working. He estimated it would cost between $75-$90 for all of the materials and then hours of work so we opted to purchase one versus making him construct one for us. Big fans here!
