Unique

You can't really tell what this is meant to do at first glance. It's like an open ended sideways basket. The material is very strong and can hold slightly heavy items. This is meant to be a magazine rack but you can use it for whatever items you want. Honestly, I would prefer if the bottom was closed, then I think the uses would be infinite. This is too expensive of an item to get if you plan on using it simply for storing magazines.

Great basket for a multitude of things

Is it terrible that once I ordered this, I ended up going through my magazines and decided I don’t need to hang on to them? I recycled almost all that I’ve been collecting, which means this lovely, black handcrafted magazine rack was ordered in vain. However, I instantly found another purpose for it, and I’m so pleased that I did, because my excess firewood needed a refined looking home. I love the look of this rack. It’s simple yet stark enough that it catches your attention. It would look amazing in a minimalist-styled living room. The oval shaped rack is made from rope and paper which is fitted over a metal frame. The quality is great! I do think it’s overpriced, selling currently for $77.99, but it certainly is a lovely statement piece and is functional to boot. I should mention that this rack can be toted from room to room, which makes it a great basket for carrying magazines, or other things. I’m giving this four stars only because I think it’s a wee bit expensive.

Unique circular design

This magazine holder has a unique, circular design. It's attractive and would go well with farmhouse or modern decor. It was a bit smaller than anticipated, though, and I thought the price was quite high for the size of the piece. It is sturdy and the side view kind of 'hides' the magazines from view. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the price is just too high.

A little of center

I'm not really a perfectionist. Yet a little bothered with the fact that this rack doesn't sit flat which I though it would. It's a sturdy rack maybe once some weight gets into it will shape better so that it's not looking off centered.

Beautiful and functional...although very pricey for the size

I like the look and feel of the beautiful magazine organizer. It looks so nice out by our couch. Holds a lot of magazines. Not sure I would buy again at this price ($78 when I ordered).

good quality

This basket is strong and will hold a good quantity of magazines or blankets or other items and is easy to carry with the handle. The seagrass looks nice and doesn't shed like some baskets. It has a nice smooth feel to it. I took off one star because the price is above average.

Not Just A Magazine Rack

So I wasn't sure about this when I purchased it, who reads magazines anymore?! I don't but I thought it was cute and different so I went ahead and purchased this. I actually ending up folding my throw blanket up and putting this on the side of the couch, it actually works for me! Because of the shape, the blanket conforms to it so it looks like it has always belonged and was made for this. I think this piece just proves it can be versatile. You don't have to use it just for what the description says, you can make it work for your space! A great buy, just think outside of the box on this one!

Used as blanket storage

I love the color and size. I can store three throw blankets and keep them nice and neat when not in use. The color worked beautifully in my living room.
