Long story and I've had to tell it to Amazon representatives four or five times now and each time it gets more complicated. I ordered this fuse holder thinking it included a fuse, plus a spare, because it said exactly that in the description. It got to me via USPS package undamaged and unopened with no spare fuse, like it never had one. I chatted Amazon and they cannot send a spare fuse as they do not replace missing items. So they instructed me to return the item with the only option being electronic return label for me to print and I don't have a printer or easy access to one, so I made a deal for a $3 refund for the missing fuse, and I keep what I have, all is good right? The next day Amazon sent a refund notice and a replacement item via UPS with instructions to return the item I made the deal not to return. I chatted a second time to remind them I had no printer, and had already made a deal for a partial refund, and they said sorry about that and sent a stop delivery on the UPS item sent by mistake, all is good once again. Then the next day another E-mail to remind me to return the UPS item so I would not be charged again. This time I called, the new deal was they would send a third item, Fedex Next Day Air, free of charge, to supply me with the spare fuse I did not get the first time and I could keep the rest to calm me for the issue of not clearing up the issue I have now chatted about twice and called about once and all is good again? NOT. The next day with three items on the way, another e-mail reminding me to return the UPS item ( we made a deal to stop shipment on ) again, to avoid a second charge. I called a second time ( 4th time trying to resolve this problem) to find out what's up. After they offered to send me a printed label snail mail this time and I declined, they called UPS again to hold the package where it is for five days, at which time it will then be sent back to Amazon and I keep the third item sent Fedex Next Day Air. Wow, by now my head is spinning and Amazon wants to know if they resolved the problem and I can't answer them cause I thought it was resolved three times ago. In Amazon's defence I have never had an issue of any kind before and they have been very nice throughout this whole thing, but even now, I'm still not sure whether or not it's over yet. As for the item itself. It is already on my car for protection from power serges from a 100 amp alternator and seems to be as described with the exception of the spare not being there when it was delivered. Here I am a week or so later everything is cool. All wrinkles came out in the wash all is good with the drama being over now.

Incorrect Suggested Replacement Fuses

I recently purchased Rig Rite Manufacturing 150 Marine Watertight Fuse Holder with 8-Gauge Wire and 50-Amp Fuse, plus suggested replacement fuses. The fuse holder came with a fuse which was 1 1/4 inches long by 3/16 inches in diameter. The fuse was 32 volt, 50 amp. The additional replacement fuses suggested by Amaozn were db link AGU50 50 amp gold plated. These fuses are 1 1/2 inches in length by 3/8 inches in diameter and absolutely do not fit the in-line fuse holder. I beleive the fuse holder will work fine, my problem is securing the correct size 12 volt, 50 amp fuses.

Great Customer Service

This is one of the very few products I could find that provides inline fuse protection at this amperage. More importantly, I was very impressed by the outstanding customer service from Rig Rite. I had follow-up technical questions regarding this product, and I received prompt and informative responses above and beyond what I expected from a relatively small purchase. I highly recommend doing business with Rig Rite.

Okay holder, Wrong fuse recommendation...

Do not buy the 'DB Link AGU50 50 Amp Gold AGU Fuses' that are shown as frequently bought together! These are 2-3 times bigger in diameter than the fuses needed. They will not fit into this fuse holder. If I had it to do over again, I would buy a Blue Sea 50 amp breaker.

I purchased this inline fuse to fab a fuse/relay box to operate the aux lights on my jeep. This inline fuse is the main power line for the set up. High quality, and waterproof! Seems to be of high quality, and the fuse is easily replaced which is a plus for me.

Disappointed

I recently purchased this fuse and fuse holder and was disappointed. The description indicates "plus a spare" but only 1 fuse was included. I was unable to gleam anything from the writing on the fuse so I guess I'll just have to take their word for it (which has not been good so far) that its a 50 AMP fuse. Also, of all of my waterproof fuses, this one's seal is the weakest. It is slick stuff material and does not grip like others I have that are more pliable and grippy. I will have to seal this additionally to have any confidence.

Easy to solder and crimp wire

Quality connectors. Easy to solder and crimp wire.. They do come unplugged if you pull with any force on the wire, That's a feature for replacing the fuse, but an issue if the wire you are fusing has any play in it, or is moved by users.

Add on item is a scam these AGU 50 amp do not fit this holder.WHY combine items that are not compatible? Seems very deceptive!

The holder is exactly what I needed,worked great but never received the 2nd fuse as mentioned in the description
