Just a fun purchase but I found a surprise
This is a simple piece. It isn’t well built, not a show piece for sure. Soft wood so the screws can strip, uneven stain. I questioned if it would even hold the bottles without collapsing. I was surprised when my neighbors couldn’t stop complimenting what it did for the room. It hasn’t failed and does store and display wine bottles in a nice way. The price was also low enough to explain the shortfalls. All in all worth the money and it does bring some joy. But if you are looking for super fancy it isn’t this one. Install tip: lay out your fronts and backs first. I used wood glue on the pegs/dowels for extra strength in the joints. If you had even a few fine bottles I might spring course thread stainless wood screw.

Cheap, but great value for your buck.
Cheap product that actually works well. This is my second wine rack. My first one cost more money. I happen to get more wine as birthday gifts as because I got some great wine on sale and it was taking up all my counter space. So I bought this second rack just to clean things up in the kitchen. I didn't want to spend any real money on a second rack thinking that I'll probably give it away when I'm done with it. So I tried this one. When I pulled the pieces out of the box, I was thinking, oh hell no, this is not going to hold all that weight from the bottles. It's so cheap and flimsy. But much to my surprise, after putting it together, it seemed pretty good. So I put it in an open spot in my living room and started loading it up. Works just fine! I would definitely not try to move it once the bottles are on it. I probably wouldn't move it to much empty either. But if you make it and set it up once, should last for quite awhile. Years maybe. I'd buy it again as a second rack or even as a young persons new apartment rack. Something someone just starting out on their own that doesn't expect to keep it forever might really like.

Great functionality, different color
I love the wine rack itself. It is sturdy enough, it holds all of my wine, I love using the surface on top for open bottles, and it fits well in my house. I gave it 4 stars because it is more of a cherry color than described. The wood isn't the finest quality. But it does the job, it holds 25 bottles and extra weight on the top without becoming wobbly or flimsy. As long as you're delicate while putting it together, you shouldn't have any issues. I read a couple reviews before buying it about people who split the wood while putting it together so I was mindful of that when I assembled it and had no issues. If you don't mind the color difference, I'd fully recommend this wine rack. It works very well, especially for the price.

So far so good...
So far so good. Bought this because it had the most slots for the money. I was worried about the sturdiness but honestly it holds up the weight really well so far. It's tucked in a cooler corner in my home office so there won't be much foot traffic from guests so I'm not worried of it getting bumped into. Assembly was really easy. I used a power drill even tho I was advised not to. I drilled the screw in each hole before hand and it made lining up the holes easier. Be careful handing the pieces individually. The side patterns are extremely fragile. I'll post an update after a few months of use.

Cheap garbage. I tried twice. Anyone giving this more than 2 stars has very low standards.
My first purchase came in an obviously open box. The packing material was broken and shoved in there willy-nilly. I still removed the pieces to see if they were in good shape. There were several splits in many of the pieces. There were chunks out of the pieces. It has a horrible finish and some of the holes looked as if the screws had gone in and broke out the sides. I didn't even attempt to try to assemble it. I returned it and tried for another. I am happy to report that the second shipment had clean and intact packaging but that was the only positive. It was still a crappy, cheap product when I pulled out all the pieces. Still not smoothly finished wood. The pieces still had chunks missing as well as splits. Several pieces did not have smooth CUT edges so the finished product will not look clean and finished and almost every piece had splinters that would need to be sanded down to look nice and that would remove the stain. The holes do not line up and on top of all that, it looks flimsy. I do not feel at all comfortable filling this with glass wine bottles. Its going to take work on my part to look nice and smooth. Hard pass. Up your standards.

Save your money, don’t buy this
For 1) the stain isn’t what’s advertised, 2) every piece was so warped once I put it together it was very wobbly, 3) the pieces were missing chunks, cracked, or splintered, and 4) you could make this yourself and it’d be better quality.

Cost vs Quality
This wine rack came in a flat box. All the pieces were identified and it looked fairly simple to assemble. It took two of us to assemble because the holes weren’t lined up to match the corresponding pieces. I would have expected it to be like that had the price been half of what I paid for it. It truly wasn’t worth the cost that I paid. All in all, I’m hoping it withstands my many bottles of wine.

Poor Quality, arrived broken
Made the mistake of ordering before I read the reviews. The product arrived broken. Boxes were OK, but the top shelf was broken. Thought about trying to glue back together, but realized that the broken piece was warped. Looks like it left the factory broken. Returned and ordered a different unit

Product is usable but not of high quality
Packaging was good and undamaged, very fast shipping. Material is stained soft wood, finishing is rough with no sanding. Most parts have minor machining marks and small chip-offs. Locations of predrilled screw holes are slightly off position. If the expectation is simply a functioning rack, this is OK. For display quality you'll have to put in your own effort to do polishing, puttying and lacquering. I gave a 4 rating due to it's relatively low price, good packing and fast shipping.
