Works great!

I got this for the functionality of aeration. It works for its purpose. My only negative is that it has one weak stream, as pictured. No matter how much pressure I adjust, that one is always weaker. I figure the hole may not be drilled the same as others. But it works, and it sounds great! I didn't think I'd care to enjoy the foundation sounds as much as I do. We have yet to have temps high enough to judge the coolness factor, but I'll edit in the summer.

Great Fountain, If It Stays in Place

If it weren't for the fact that this fountain doesn't stay in position, I would rate it 5 stars. I do love it. It is "fairly" easy to install. The problem is that we found out the hard way that we couldn't leave ours connected permanently. It hooked up okay, but tightening it to get it in the desired position for the proper height and range of your waterfall is a tiny bit tricky. Once we had it in place, we loved it! It was a beautiful addition to our inground pool, creating a calming sight and sound for it. But...if anyone touched it, even slightly, it would be knocked right out of its perfect position. And...the worst thing for us was that we left it connected, thinking it would be a welcome addition to the pool whenever our pump was running. Unfortunately, our pump is on a timer and runs while we are not using the pool on a daily basis. One day, while the pump was running, the force of the water caused the fountain to shift, shooting the stream of water outside the pool instead of back into it. We didn't discover this until we ended up with quite a bit of water in our basement as the fountain had been shooting water directly at our house for some time. Luckily, someone was home and discovered the problem before it got much worse. From that point on, we only use this fountain supervised. Unfortunately, it's a little bit of a hassle to connect and disconnect every time, so going forward, it will only be used on special occasions. If we didn't have to worry about it, I would use it all the time as I really do love it.

Height of water spray does not match reality

Only getting 1/2 the height of the spray of what is shown in the picture. Would love to know what psi they used to get that picture.

Educate yourself before buying

So I have seen some pretty misinformed reviews related to this item and they are factually incorrect. The whole end result on whether this will be a good buy for you or not is 100% dependent on the power of your pump and how forcefully the water comes out of your jets. If you have a weak pump for the size of you pool then don't buy this. It will be a waste of your time, money and a disservice of this company after you give them a bad review for you not doing proper research first

Great product for the price

The fountains came and were as advertised. The installation was difficult not because of the fountains, but because in order to install them you have to remove your returns from the side of the pool. In my case they were very hard to remove. Installing was easy, but you need to be aware that there are a couple of compression fittings that need to be seated well our else they will pop out. Once installed, I had to block the 3rd return in order to get enough pressure so that the fountains would spray out sufficiently. The upside, especially here in Florida where the pool temperatures can climb in to the 90's is that it does cool down the water. In the heat of the summer you might have to run the pump at night in order to cool the water. The downside is that the water does evaporate at a faster rate. Overall, I was very pleased with this product and just ordered a third one for the last return.

Good little fountain

Depending upon what horsepower your pump is is how large the fountain will be. Or if you want to block off some of your jets you can have a larger fountain. The PVC fountain comes with a valve or you can actually control the flow also if you have a high volume pump. I have a variable speed pool pump. My pool was built 21 years ago so none of the fittings that came with this device worked for attaching it to the outflow jet. So as you see in the picture I had to go to local hardware store and buy a Rubber adapter, to go from the pool outflow jet and attached to the fountains PVC input fitting as seen in the picture. Great added water feature my dog loves it

Works

Cooled my pool by 5 degrees and the added aeration accelerated the process of dropping the total alkalinity. My kids do enjoy it, but the tubes pop off if the kids get too rough with it- you just have to compress it back together.

Great waterfall

Easy to install works great at cooling water in above ground pool in the summer. Actually got the water so cool we had to turn it off for a few days.

Know before you buy.

Reading some of the reviews; people complaining that it didn’t fit. The seller adequately describes the connection as being 1 1/2”. That means the threaded outlet into the pool should measure 1 3/4” inside diameter (1 1/2” is the inside diameter of the threaded connector in the fountain kit and this allows 1/8” for pipe thickness). Another comment was that that kit threaded connector didn’t fit the pump nozzle. All PVC fittings of this schedule have the same coarse thread pitch so they are obviously confused. My only issue is with the length of the vertical pipe to spray bar. It isn’t long enough for the level in the pool. That pipe has to be cut; resized and a slip-on connector added to lengthen the pipe so as to get the spray bar to stick its head above the water level.

Sounds like a stream

The media could not be loaded. This works great. Followed instructions and the joints were falling apart. These are a simple compression fitting. The trick is to slide pipe through the collar, then slide rubber sleeve over end of pipe, then insert into threaded pipe and hand tighten. Don’t use a wrench . Awesome feature. The sound is the best part. Drowns out neighbors without crankin the tunes!

Do not buy

This product does not work. We hooked it up exactly is the instruction said and the waterfall it created was about 6 inches high. Do not waste your money.

Apaisant et amusant

J'ai lu des commentaires négatifs sur cet appareil et je suis convaincu que c'est un problème d'installation car ça fonctionne très bien. II faut faire attention de bien positionner les "gaskets" en caoutchouc et ça ira très bien. Résultat : un petit "chant" ruissellant d'une fontaine et lorsque je me baigne avec les enfants j'augmente la hauteur du jet pour jouer dessous.

adjustable to aim it

this is a great product i believe it circulates the water on top more moves it around the only think i find is where the sprinkler is you cant adjust it easily you do need a a pair of pliers other then that great must clean it out once in a while once pool is cleaned your good lol
