Well made just too big

It was well made and looked good but was much bigger than expected. We actually sent it back for this reason.

Plastic...would prefer it be metal for longevity sake but it is what it is. We have it hanging backwards (so facing in) on our backyard slider so that folks drinking know they need to dump their beers in a solo cup (which we have on a table right underneath the sign) before heading outside. I got this one for said purpose because I had the other one (which I've also reviewed) and folks didn't get it. I mean I'm not sure if they thought "oh clearly she doesn't mean me; besides if I break it I'll get it up" or they just didn't care but before this one I had to say (OFTEN) "umm...hey you...didn't you see the sign?" I have a dog and I like to enjoy my (all hardscaped) backyard barefoot and I'm not interested in a $250 vet bill or bending over holding my foot in one hand and tweezers in the other because you forgot about your empty glass or beer and the wind/bird/kids/unaware adult knocked it over. The cartoon man helps drive home the point that shards in ones foot (or paw) suck because we've all had it happen to us. I'm not saying it's brilliant but I will say that since I switched it out I haven't had to tell (or remind) ANYONE...

Very nostalgic!

Just like I remember when I was a kid in the 80’s.... I don’t have a pool, the reason why I got this was because I’m a huge “Creature from the black lagoon” fan and I just had to get this! It looks great in my monster collection and I’m surprised that no one else that collects vintage universal monster stuff hasn’t thought to frame this and put it in there show room like me! The sign looks freakin’ awesome!!! ????????????

Great pool rules sign

I love this pool rules sign! We've had it for 2 and a half years so far and it's stood up to the elements. About twice a year I wipe it down with Lysol wipes to clean off pollen, etc. and it holds up. I like the holes in the four corners, which make it easy to hang up with zip ties. We've only had to change the zip ties once (the sign holds up better than the ties). We're in the south so this thing has withstood a lot of rain and wind and still looks good. I also like having a set of rules for when my kid's friends come over. It's easy to point out and is a great reminder. It looks exactly like the picture and is perfect for a residential pool like ours.

I wish it was metal

I prefer metal signs but I couldn’t find one on Amazon and I needed it right away. I know a metal sign will be a lot more durable. This sign is for home in Lake Tahoe. Plastic generally doesn’t hold up to the elements. Although, if you don’t care about plastic, then by all means buy this one. It just is expensive for a piece of plastic.

Great Signs, Yes they are big "please read" However serve their purpose

Signs are very big and makes your home pool feel like a commercial business type of swimming pool. However, it's better to have the signs big, that way it is very clear to anyone who either decides to jump the fences or enters a padlocked backyard that the homeowner has done everything to protect anyone who decides to swim at their own risk. Plenty of posted disclosure and every effort made by the homeowner and insurance in making sure that no one gets hurt and they stay out of the pool. If you do not mind a big sign, then please buy it because it is for letting anyone know that there is no lifeguard on duty at anytime. These signs by the way, are hard to find. I have looked everywhere for this type of sign.

Duck Pool Sign

The words could be a larger if the sign was a bigger and the reason for four stars rather than five stars. The wording for rules are cute and did cover many rules. I did change the one rule from "No diving in shallow end" to "No diving" by using a permenant ink marker. The four holes at each corner made it easy to use gear ties to hang the sign on an aluminum fence rail.

Perfect Signage for a Pool

This sign is exactly what I needed for my pool. It is sturdy, durable and super easy to install. Also very clear and easy to read as you can see by the photos. It stands out, I AirBnB my home and having RULES by the pool makes it look more professional and expectations for Pool conduct is clear. Would definitely order more product from this seller.
