Decent value, but one of five was defective...
The media could not be loaded. I bought three boxes of fives tubes each. Overall these seem like a decent product for weighting the edges of a pool cover. They arrived very tightly packed rectangles approx. 4X7X1/2"and each individually wrapped in plastic. As I filled each on partially with water I checked for leaks or damage... One of five vinyl tubes in each package had a major defect making them unusable (couple of minor defects like over-melted vinyl welds that did not affect functionality). Pics show a leaking seam weld between the two tubes. Overall, I was pretty happy with the tubes that held water and will be requesting replacements for those that did not. UPDATE: I did not install these tubes as soon as they since our pool season was not done. Now its TOO LATE to return or get credit for defective tubes. Dropping down to a 3 star rating since since you wouldn't ever fill these tubes until you need to install them. My fault on waiting 10 days too long to seek credit (40 days total). BUYER BEWARE. I'm out $30+ dollars on 3 wasted tubes.

Tube Quality
Great idea for closing off openings on pool cover and deck. BUT the quality control is nonexistent. I bought package of ten and two leaked as soon as I put water in. After installing and letting set for a week two more leaked, i.e.., smaller leak. So, in summary so far, seems 6 out of 10 may hold water. I'm betting another may show a slow leak soon. In the tube leaks I got; it is simply adjusting the temp of the seam sealer to insure a seal. Then use air to check the seal. Sloppy manufacturing. The smart purchase is the double tube. If one side leaks you can at least use the other. Doubles your chances of getting something you can use. Amazon will take them back. Unfortunately, after putting water in tubes the work to clean them out and return them is a lot. After calling Amazon they did refund 10% as an alternative to returning.

Can't review yet. I haven't used them.
I haven't used them yet... But if they are like most of these water tunes I always get some that leak from the factory. And some sellers under stand and they replace them . Then there are the other sellers that want you to take pictures and send them in. We'll when covering the pool I need it done fast and I don't want to wait for more tubs to come because of there bad ones. They are all made in China . So next year I will have a custom cover made for my pool...so I won't need these waste of money water tubes.

Read Reviews! Not heavy duty
I live in NJ and these were my second go around. The first time I was told that fill them up too much, but they only one could be filled halfway. So when I purchased a new ones, The first time I was told I filled them up too much. Was told they only could be filled halfway. So when I purchased the new ones, I only filled them up halfway, but they still all broke.I only told him up halfway, but they still split at the seams. All 5 I bought are leaking. Bought in October 2022. Didnt make it one season.

Preliminary review- more to come after the season is over
My plan was executed well to attempt To keep the leaves out of my pool this year. So far after one day it remains intact. The question remained - will it hold throughout the season. I'll be back with more.

Six of the ten had leaks.
I had gotten two orders of these first order was good . Second order 6 out of the ten leaked very bummed . They also seem pretty thin, hope they last the winter. I would appreciate it if they sent me six more. I have had good experiences with Amazon in past. It’s just the product was not good. Thanks

Great tube if Manufacture flaws were not so High! 30% Failure rate
The product is a great product but they have welding quality issues with the tubes. I purchased a 10 pack and 3 out of the box had broken welding holes. That is 30% failure rate. They need to do a leak test on these before they ship them with that high a failure rate. Not good!! Buy more that you need!!

Hit or miss
We ordered a pack for my grandparents, and one of them was unsealed and not usable. We did not realize there was a one-month return window, so we can’t get our money back, but we wanted to share this review to warn others that they may not all be intact! Order at your own risk

Useless.
Good idea, awful execution. Simply cannot close the caps. Many people have tried - zero success. Massive fail, am returning product.

Half of the pool bags leaked. Terrible quality. Do not buy.
Do not buy. Bad quality. 5 of the 10 pool bags leaked within minutes of filling them. 4 had seam leaks, 1 leaked around the plug. The picture shows 3 of our new bags (and an old one that we had to add in order to keep our pool cover from going in the pool. Amazon's solution to this was to send out 10 replacements, for me to empty all 10 of the original ones, dry them and refill the new 10 and redo our pool closing. I pay someone to do this job for me, as I have a bad back. Now I have to do it myself. Obviously I will not be emptying the 5 original ones that don't leak, I will just send 5 of the new ones back (providing the other new ones don't leak). I am disappointed that Amazon is selling such bad quality bags and that in addition to the work of redoing the cover close, I have to bother to try to repackage wet pool bags that leak to return. I have no faith that the other 5 will last the winter. I'll update as they leak.

Cheap plastic tubes
I would happily pay more for a better product, but when it comes to pool water bags, I don't think there is such a thing. I have purchased different gauges and styles, but when it comes down to it, the seals are hot pressed and quality control seems to be absent. I'd be surprised if they cost more than $5.00 to manufacture. Off the bat, one tube was not sealed. I filled the other tubes up and all seemed good until the next day when I noticed 2 more were losing water. Small holes in the end where the seal did not hold were the culprit. I did not have high expectations, so was not surprised. I'm in the process to have the 3 tubes exchanged, but I can only hope that Amazon reads my message to send three tubes to exchange, rather than replace all 10. Seems that 7 perfectly good water tubes will end up in the landfill considering what will happen when they get returned. On the good side.....I found it easy to close the cap. It's much easier to do if there is a little heat from the sun, but I did it on a cooler day and still had no problem. Be prepared to buy some waterproof tape like gorilla and seal the ends even if they appear intact, might just save you some frustration down the road

Structurally not sound
6 of the 10 bags were faulty either with a slit in one of the double bags or caps that do not seal at all or properly. I have used what I can because it is cold here but only 4 of them have I been able to fill both sides for weight and the other 6 are being used with a single cell filled. Very disappointed and now I have no other option for the winter months to hold down my pool cover. The pool stores are out of stock locally. I have to use these but I would like a refund for the time and trouble this is causing me.

The bags were good but 1 had a hole in it. To much of a pain to get another one.
The bags are fine and came quick but one had a mfg defect and leaked. 9 out of 10 isn't bad but they weren't a bargain anymore
