Ok so far

I just got it today and put it on my 14' pool. I ordered the 12' because everyone said it was too big. It doesn't exactly fit well there is probably an inch of space all the way around but I think it should still work. I do like the thickness so far I hope it lasts.

So far I really like this solar blanket

We have a 10' x 36" above ground metal frame pool. Also, we live surrounded by fields so its always windy at our house, sometimes ridiculously so. Last year it took forever for our pool to warm up enough to swim in. After setting up the pool (with freezing well water) and getting the chemicals in and everything balanced we put the cover on the first night. By the next day the temp was in the mid 60's, the day after that it was in the mid 70s and when I check it in the mornings the water temperature is warmer than the air temperature so I assume that the solar cover is working properly. It's only been set up a few days and has been cloudy and overcast but I have high hopes the water will hit 80 within the next couple days. It's definitely warmer faster than it was last year and the kids have already got to go swimming. My main concern was it would blow away but it sits on the water and must form a seal because although the edges with flip up and blow around and it did get pushed towards one side slightly during a thunderstorm it never looked like it could blow away. I also saw a review say its very heavy but to me it's super light, like a big roll of bubble wrap. I have also had no problems putting it on or getting it off the pool because of its size or weight. The only thing I don't like is that anything that is on the top of the cover ends up in the water by the time I get the cover off which is not very effective for a cover. I'm not sure if its because I'm doing it by myself or if it would happen even with help. If it does it's main purpose of warming the water up so we get more swimming time I can deal with that. Since I haven't been using this long if anything changes I will update my review accordingly.

This was actually measured at 13.5ft. Not 12ft as listed.

While 5*'s for was given in each category, I am annoyed that I had to cut it down to an actual 12ft as ordered. It gets only 4*'s overall. However, I would buy it again if it was an honest size.

Way too big.

Ordered a cover for 12 foot pool. Hangs over the sides at 1-2 feet all the way around.must be for a least at 15 foot pool if not bigger. The plus side it will keep a lot of debris from the pool.

Sturdiest pool cover in 15 year of pool ownership

This is the thickest pool cover I've had in the last decade of owning an above ground pool. Does the job to warm up our pool. It does look a lot like bubble wrap, but unlike the last few covers I've purchased (that literally started disintegrating by the end of one season) this looks like it will last several seasons. It is a little larger than our 10' pool, but that has actually been fine. Great value! In 3 or 5 years, I'll be back to repurchase.

Bigger than I expected

It’s really nice but the pool blew away and I missed the return date. I can’t actually attest to its warming capabilities but it seemed great. Thick enough for a few seasons. Easy to fold and roll to put away. I’d like to return it just because I don’t need it but I would also recommend it because it was a quality cover. I got very sick and missed my return window. I’d take credit for other things this vendor may sell or Amazon credit. Whatever. I hate to throw it away.

The cover is over priced.

The cover is completely covered in water. Opened the box and put the cover on pool. The cover has been almost has been completely covered in water. Had two of these solar blankets from Blue Wave before and never had the problem before. This cover was twice the price of the two previously covers I had before. Way over priced and does not perform as a solar cover should. I recommend not buying this cover from the vendor as I have have. You will be very disappointed and out of a lot of money. The only reason I purchased this cover for the price was before I had great success with this cover before. This was a big mistake.

Too thin

Disappointed int the material. The size is perfect for my pool, the blanket itself is probably half the thickness as my old one that lasted me for years. After using for two months I noticed quite a few of the bubbles have lost their thin plastic backing. Buyer beware, I should have returned when I realized how thin the material was.

Cove Built to Last

Love this cover!! I have bought so many of them that simply are ruined by the end of summer. This one , being 12' it it good for a 15' pool. Mine is a 12' pool and i just fold and tuck around the edges. It is sturdy and durable and doesnt rip when I (gently) take it out. This cover will last a few years for sure.

does the job nicely

a bit thinner then previous one i had, not sure if it'll last as much, if properly stored for winter should be perfect. but light and easy to handle, easy to roll in and out of pool on support roller. recommend it.

Plus grand que 12 pieds

Un peu plus grand qu’un douze pieds mais plus petit qu’un 15 pieds. Moi j’ai une 12 pieds et il fait bien même s’il est un peu plus grand. Heureuse de mon achat.
