Great build quality, could be better designed.
Pumps like a dream. Easy to use, just be sure of your posture and use a squat + body weight towards the higher pressure levels. The base foot holds could be longer, the high pressure hose should be longer - with a clip to frame, and the handles could be a tiny bit softer. Easy to pump, quick to fill the rifle. Great exercise and muscle building. Buy some creatine and protein shake with it.

Better than expected
As I write this, I realized I have used this hand pump for five years, almost to the day. I never thought I would get that much out of it. I have three Benjamin PCP rifles, so it got a lot of use. I got a lot of exercise, too. It is a workout to go from zero to 2k PSI. It has finally failed, but a $20 seals kit will fix it. Now I'm getting older and looking at an electric compressor, but I wanted to pass on my success with this hand pump.

will give you a heck of a work out
i purchased this pump for a airsoft/paintball tank. im using a 48 cubic inch 3000 psi tank and it hooks up directly no other hoses required which is a huge plus. it takes about 1000 pumps to fill the tank which will get me roughly 2000-3000 rounds out of my airsoft gun. i am happy with the quality and price for a compressor would have ran me about $3500 or $700 for a shoebox compressor but they take like 4-6 hours to fill a tank the reason for the drop in 1 star is the physical strength required after you pass about 2000psi gets im 6ft 170lbs and work wil trucks unloading by dolly around 100-250lbs per load and this pump is a harder workout then my job. luckily you can fill the tank in small increments you do not have to fill it all at once but if you remove the hose be sure to bleed it with the bleeder screw first so you dont damage the pump and the next time you connect it to add more air (in a senario where you have not used any just want to add more) it will take about 3 pumps to be back up to pressure and your adding air again. me personally i will continue to use this product it is very handy due to the fact that i can bring it with me to games and no electricity is needed but i will probably only fill my tank to about 2000 psi because the extra time to get that last 1000psi isnt worth it to me YET (ill slowly build my strength and increase it 50psi or so a month) please note that the cylinder will start to get hot/warm i pump about 100 at a time then take a 10 min break so i dont hurt the seals

3.5 stars if I cound
I've only had this pump for around 2 weeks so I can't comment on reliability in the long run, I'll edit this review if I change my opinion. NOTE: If you just want to pump an airgun to around 2000 PSI (eg the Benjamin Maximus), then buy it. 2000 PSI is easy to reach, even if you're not that heavy. If you're trying to get to 3000PSI and are lightweight (>145 Lbs), then this pump is not for you. I would say that a body weight of 140Lbs is borderline for getting to 3000PSI. I'm using this pump for my Benjamin Marauder, while pumping an airgun is doable, it is tiring. I haven't kept track of how long I need to pump to get my airgun from 1000PSI to 3000PSI, but I estimate it's anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour (excluding a break to let the pump cool down) First impressions aren't too great, the baseplate is not completely flat, and has rough edges on one side. The tube is VERY short at only around 9 inches of bendable tubing, meaning you're going have to put your gun on the ground next to the pump or replace the tube (tube is 1/8" NPT I believe). The grip has a rough line across the middle from the injection molding process. The silver inner tube has random scratches on it. On the plus side though, this is the cheapest brand name pump, at more than 50$ less (67$ when I bought mine) than the next name brand pumps (the Air Venturi G6 and the AirForce pump), and it does pump my Marauder to 3000PSI. If you want to add some desiccant, the intake is 1/8" NPT.

Benjamin HP Pump ~ Great Back up source if used correctly for a PCP Air Rifle ~ Not a great primary source
Great backup in a pinch ! Not great for the only air source for a PCP Air Rifle but it works great when my SCBA 4500 psi Air pack drops below 3000 psi. I'm in my fifties and I have used it from zero psi to 3000 and it will take some time with a few breaks in between to reach a full fill in my Benjamin Marauder. When my primary source runs low it will top it off without too much trouble in a pinch. I have read reviews where people had trouble with o ring failure bit I think it because of user error not the fault of the pump. If you use it like a bike pump and just pump fast up and down it will overheat and fry the o rings. It clearly states in the basic manual that you need to pause for a second at the peak of the up stroke and at the bottom of the stroke. This gives the pump a more efficient stroke and the o rigs will last a long time. Each stroke up and down actually fill the chamber. You Tube has some good videos on the proper technique but if they are not pausing at the top and bottom of each stroke it is NOT correct. One thing I recommend, if you can't afford a scuba tank rated for 3000psi or an SCBA 4500psi (Scott air pack) and a HP pump is the only air source you can afford, you will spend allot more time hand pumping than shooting. The SCBA is the best choice but fill sources are harder to find than for scuba tanks. The scuba tank will obviously drop below the 2700 psi point much sooner but never over fill your 3000 psi max gun. The 4500psi air pack should be regulated to not exceed 3000psi to avoid dangerously over filling. I paid $120 for a used SCBA in great condition, $350 on eBay for a 6000psi regulator and another $65 for high pressure air paintball fill station rated for 5000psi, quite the investment !

Good, but needs better quality control
Works as expected, but I was disappointed when I tried to assemble it and found that one of the bolts to attach the base had malformed threads and could not be screwed into the aluminum housing. To have forced it would have damaged the housing. I had to got to the hardware store and buy a blister pack of M6 bolts to complete the assembly. So far it reliably fills my Benjamiin Maximus to 2000 PSI.
