Great strainer basket

This bathtub strainer basket is working out great for the 1 3/8” drain in the bathtub at my friend’s condo. I had to do some searching to find this size strainer, but once I found this one, it was worth it. Thanks for having just what my friend needed.

This 1 3/8 inch drain strainer fits my 1 1/2 inch drain opening

I like it because it works for my situation. My basement utility sink drain is exactly 1 1/2 inches wide. I had ordered a 1 1/2 inch drain strainer but it was too big, and had to return it. I then ordered this 1 3/8 inch drain strainer, and it slides right in there easily, without excess space around the edges. I'm sharing this in case anybody else has the same situation.

too short

Should have read some of the negative reviews which mentioned the short height. Not tall enough for my application. 1-star, not recommended.

Great Strainer

It took me quite a while to find the right size strainer to fit my bathtub. This is the right size. It works great and all of the stuff that would clog up the pipes gets caught here and removed with every shower. I am very pleased.

FITS PERFECT

Fits my Menards Push Button Pop Up Drain Model Number: 9DM0089459 SKU: 6798020. The 'Pop Up' seal ring caused standing water and constant lime build up so I pulled it out and had to find a strainer to keep from dropping stuff in the drain hole. US inch measurements are not as exact as millimeter. 1 1/2" outside top of flange diam. (37.5 mm= 1.4724"). 1 3/8" bottom diam. (35.5 mm= 1.3976"). Height top of flange to bottom = 3/8" (10 mm = .3937 mm). Appears to be chrome on metal not stainless steel but they do not claim is is st. stl. Bought the Amazon Mintcraft PMB-140 Sink Strainer and it dropped right down the drain. MFR should list All dims and exact.
