Added protection

I purchased this for my new sink to help preserve the finish and also to protect breakable objects such as glasses and porcelain dishes. I like the fact I can take half of it out when I don't need it. I highly recommend this product!

A must have!!!

Perfectly fit our farm sink. This really protects the sink from dings and dents!! Perfectly contoured to the shape of the sink. Well made stainless steel finish off the sinks look!

Must have for Kohler White Farmhouse sink

This has saved our Kohler Farmhouse sink from scratches. It came in two pieces, which works perfectly in our sink. It looks nice in the sink. We did add a sink liner on top, when we place china on the rack, it holds the cups better. Buy this if you have a farmhouse sink.

A must have for your farm sink!

This is a must have for your farm sink. I didn't get one right away with my last farm sink and ended up getting scratches on the bottom, but no more once I started using. Bought this right away for my new house and no scratches! Also helps keep glass from breaking if you accidentally drop one in the sink.

Exactly as describe!

So far so great with this basin rack! Nice rubber pads on the 'feet', so no scratching there, either. Easy to remove and clean, and really is protecting the finish on the sink. I would recommend.

Where has this been all my life!!!!!

I purchased this because I noticed that my friend had one at her house and thought that it might help me protect my cast iron sink. My Kohler Whitehaven Hayridge 36" sink already has 2 nicks in it and my black carbon steel pans also leave black streaks on the white surface. I was concerned at first that this was not going to fit my sink since it was really made to fit the 35" Whitehaven series. The Hayridge series is the biggest cast iron that Kohler makes. It is distinguishable from the other models by the ridges in the apron front. Well.....I decided to purchase it and try it out.....and by golly, it fit perfectly. Installation was a no brainer, so I don't know why so many people had difficulty with the 2 separate racks lining up. The racks are made with varying feet heights to accommodate the slight slop of the sink. So of course if you put the 2 pieces together backwards then they won't sit flushed against each other at the middle seem. Kind of a no brainer. I like that the the rack comes in 2 smaller pieces, making it much easier to clean. I can either throw it in the dishwasher at night or if I decide to hand wash it, it can fit without much fuss on the drying rack. I don't see the downside of having the holes in the rack a little larger and farther apart either. This helps to prevent food debris from getting caught in the holes. Overall, I have been delighted with my purchase and would recommend that anyone who installs a new cast iron sink to invest in one of these babies right away.

Perfect fit

I am very pleased with this purchase. I know it's not the 'cheapest' available but the product in my opinion is sturdy and fit my sink perfectly. It is not a snug fit but that is not a problem for me for fear of scratching up the sides of the sink. We will see how it holds up over time. I don't usually suggest a purchase because it is individual tastes, but I do not believe you can go wrong if you are looking for a rack for this particular sink.

Fits perfectly and looks great.

I was worried as other reviews cited problems with fit or uneven height. I made the mistake of putting the square piece in the wrong way and saw the difference in height and realized it has to be placed a certain way and the. Voila! Perfect match!
