Great for Great dane

I have a rapidly growing great dane puppy (7 months in the photo) and this was perfect for her. The bowls are massive and i was glad to find out the rubber edges of the bowl hold her slow feeder in place. great buy for great price!!!

Our Irish Wolfhounds Give These Two Paws Up!

I had never been convinced that using elevated bowls for feeding taller dogs was necessary. After all, back in the day they would eat what they would kill (or learned to beg for) right off the ground. Chances are that bloat was not a problem back then since they were kept in good physical shape and lived on lean diets. The introduction of manufactured dog food and forcing them to eat on a human driven schedule might have something to do with the current bloat problem. However our two rescues (Piper and Finnegan) are entering old age now and their backs and limbs aren't as flexible as they used to be. So using an elevated feeding station for each works out much better -- especially as they both like to cruise each other's bowls to see which is better tasting. Somehow they always manage to work it out. This stand is well-constructed, light enough to move around, has decent capacity bowls, and is priced reasonably. It is not adjustable but that wasn't a consideration for us. Anyone looking for elevated feeding bowls for large dogs should put this one on the top of their list.

More stable than it looks

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is that it came with one of the welds broken. Luckily, my husband was able to reattach that spot. The stand is sturdier than it looks and the bowls clean very easily. Our dog is really tall but she can walk right up to the stand to eat and drink without dipping her head at all. I recommend this feeder for anyone with large dogs.

Perfect if you need the elevate bowls!

When we got our second dog, we needed another set. The first set was perfect so we got our second off the same item. Good size bowls, sturdy base. The rubber strip does come loose but don’t discard it! It keeps the bowels quiet in the base.

Perfect size for my Boxer but the bowls could be smaller.

The height of this is perfect for my tall lanky boxer. It helps her to eat and digest much better. The legs seem spindly but they are sturdy and easy to clean because there isn't much to get dirty. The bowls are nice. They are also easy to clean. The only issue I have is that my Boxer is not a Great Dane. Just because she is tall does not mean that she needs a gigantic bowl. I'd love to see an option that is this tall with smaller bowls, especially the water because I limit my dog's water intake and when it is too spread out in these massive bowls, it makes it harder for her to drink. It is a good product that will work for most big, tall dogs. I would recommend.

Amazing quality that stands up to Giant breeds!

Bought 3 of these XL Bowl stands for my 3 English Mastiffs and they are perfect. Sturdy, easy to clean and high quality overall! Nicest stands I've ever found for my 3 giants.

LOVE This set

While I would not be willing to pay full listing price, these sets do go on sale for 40-60% off a lot which is a good price for what you are getting. I have a great dane that also has a habit of eating her food bowl along with her food so plastic is not an option. No worries here, these bowls are beautiful. I purchased the purple set and the purple color is darker and richer then depicted in the picture. My dane is a female and average height and felt that an extra inch in the height of the stand would have been perfect; however, it's still a very good elevated feeder. I was concerned from viewing the pictures that the stand would be very unstable and would tip easily, this is not the case. The stand sits well and is pretty sturdy/solid for such a light stand. My dane is not a graceful eater and the stand does not slide around and neither do the bowls. I don't hear any clanging when she eats which was also a concern. I would recommend this 96oz stand to anyone with large breed dogs - danes, irish wolfies, etc. Labs, retrievers and other dogs of this size will do well with the 64oz size Delivery was fast, product was in excellent condition, and other then the deeper color of the bowls which I actually prefer, the product was as advertised.

Missing parts

I was really excited to get this for my golden but I just ended up being disappointed. It was advertised as coming with two steel bowls. The bowls were missing and it came with with weird steel rod which I have no idea what's the purpose. I'm going to get a replacement or at least try. I mean honestly how can you miss putting food bowls for a dog food stand.

Sturdy and clean

My Newfoundland is messy and strong. Very happy with this stand. Got the 32" after measuring my dog like the chart shows. Perfect hight and very sturdy. I am very happy with this profuct

Good quality

Sturdy construction and nice quality bowls. Rubberized feet so it doesnt scratch the floor. I make my dogs food from scratch so i wash it daily and the finish hasnt scratched off in the least. It does stand tall but what the hell. It is the XL model. Definitely getting what you paid for.
