Pricy but beats those leaking Gulp bags

Tried finding an alternative at The Container Store and Amazon but the flat design plus tight seal solved my problem best. Gone are the days of carrying opened Gulp bags in a heavy duty zip lock. Have two which carries what I need for the day plus a few unopened bags just in case.

Best of many mediocre solutions; don't get lid sandy

I got this to replace the green containers the bulk gulp packs come in, because I found that their lids don't have a proper gasket and can leak very easily. Well turns out even with a nice gasket, it will leak if you let sand get anywhere near the screwtop lid. You wont be able to turn the lid enough to get a good seal, and your bag will smell of gulp juice :( If you don't plan on being near sand or dirt and can keep this little guy clean, then carry on. Otherwise I am still looking for a gulp solution that can avoid leaks, hold a lot of gulp, and not require a lot of work to get things in/out. A roll-top waterproof container seems like a promising idea. Ziplocs have leaked for me, especially the ones gulp mullets and such come in.

Works great for Gulp baits

I keep my Gulp baits in this container, since the ziplocks they come in leak at times. I also bought Gulp recharge liquid to fill the container. I add the liquid from the Gulp packages to keep some scent in the recharge liquid. Also, I had read some complaints about leaks. As a precaution, before using, I lifted the rubber seal out of the lid and added a layer of silicone rubber glue. Then I replaced the rubber seal. I have had no leaks.

Leak Proof and Worth It

I really didn’t expect this to work for my needs. I thought for sure that I’d come out to my tackle backpack to find it soaked and smelling of Gulp at some point. But this thing has been full of my Gulp plastics and Gulp liquid for months now, always stored with the lid sideways in a side pocket, and hasn’t leaked a bit. Solid, not flimsy at all, and has dealt with all of the beatings of jetty and surf fishing that I’ve been handing it for a while now. Great item.

Leak proof with seal.

Gulp jars leak they don’t have seals. This Plano jar is sealed no leaks so far. Don’t have the sticky stink In my tackle bag.

Great for helping gulp baits last longer!

I had a bunch of bags of berkley gulp baits in my tackle box, i had them for close to a year so the liquid in the bags wasnt enough to cover these baits to keep them fully moist. So i ordered the berkley alive liquid and added it into this jar, and i was able to fit 25, 4inch berkley baits in it and it wasnt leaking, its perfect for these baits.
