One of the first toys my bird played with
I will say that you should check the toy immediately upon getting it as I did have to return my first one for being broken. The second one was in perfect condition though. I just got my baby cockatiel and he loves it. He doesn't quite get perches yet and prefers the ground. He's got substrate on the bottom of his cage and down there is also a few rattan balls and this toy. He had a toy on the side of his cage that he played with first, but once he started exploring the floor of the cage a bit. This one caught his eye and he instantly started messing with it. It seems a bit pricey for what you get, but so far (in the case of my cockatiel) I don't see him being able to tear up the wood part of it. Maybe the fringes at the ends and the stuff inside, but I see the shell remaining mostly intact for a while. Which means it's a great vehicle to put more foraging materials. So I see this toy lasting a good while. If you have a bigger bird though like an African Grey I'm pretty sure this thing will be gone in a matter of a couple days. So the value for money entirely depends on what kind of bird you have.

My bird approves!
He’s been mulling through this all day since it got here, so far no severe damage so it seems it’ll last long ????

Big and cute! Color is random!
The media could not be loaded. I didn't even bother to check the dimensions of this because it didn't matter to me. Tiny would mean Steven could hold it, big would mean it's a good cage toy. This is right in the middle: he COULD hold it if he wanted, but it's definitely not foot toy sized for a green cheek (see video for size). Probably a foot toy for an Amazon, African Grey, Macaw, 'Too, etc. Sun conure and below, I'd say too big for that. He likes it, it was scary until I put seeds in it. Then he liked it lol. I tuck safflower seeds in it the best I can and he likes to dig them out. The filling is very tightly packed, but I don't want to loosen it for fear it will fall out completely, so I'll let the bird do that! I'm happy to struggle shoving seeds in as long as he's busy and foraging! There is a stringy material (not cotton, don't worry), and 2 holes have like seagrass, thicker strands (see photos). There isn't really a way to hang it up, which I'd like the option to do, so I will just thread a plastic chain through one knot the best I can if I want to hang it!

Good hand toy!
My gray liked this hand toy, lasted about a month.

Simple but Flawed
Cute idea for enrichment. I got it for my rats, not birds. But the stuffing inside is so dense I can't actually get any treats in there. The treats just sit on the edge of the holes.

A good toy
This isn't my bird's favorite toy. She spends most of her time with shredding/chewing toys. Though she does find the rope bit that suspends this toy VERY interesting. If I could change this toy, I would love for the cap on top to lift a little (some space on the rope before the knot) so that I could fill it with things I know will interest her like nutriberries or other treats. Could be an excellent toy with a couple adjustments!

Bird not interested
Perhaps it's my finicky Canary winged parakeet (bebe parrot) but he has zero interest in foraging with this even after putting his favorite treats in hole. Maybe better for another type of bird???

Perfect for a smaller bird
I have canary wing parakeets which are pretty small birds. This works out well for them, I have to shove pieces of seed into the inner stuffing, which is good because it give them more to pull out. I would have liked it to be a little bigger, but still think it is a good buy.

bamboo foot toy
I am sorry to say this. But my parrot does not like it. It seems a bit big for a foot toy.He just won't go near it at all. I have tried quite a few times to get him to play with it. But he just won't have any of it.
