colorful draws bird interest

got this toy for a little something new and different for my parakeet to play with. I hung it in her cage and she went right over to it to investigate it guess the bright colors caught her attention fast. she plays with it sometimes a bit rougher than expected thus my rating on sturdiness and how durable if she keeps being that rough I think it may break apart however it's worth letting her enjoy it her way and if replacing is needed the price of a new one is a good value. Would recommend other parakeet owners to give this toy a try with your own feathered friend as definitely reduces boredom for my baby girl.

it's cheaper than other toys and my bird likes it. So, its worth buying it.

My budgies (parakeets) have played with these daily for over a year

The media could not be loaded. I agree this toy isn't perfect, but it's a great for a small bird. For example, this short video shows how my budgies typically interact with it. To be clear, this is not the only toy they enjoy. They also spend quite a bit of play time with any toy that hasa Kabob on it. However, they like the lattice chain so much that I've purchased a few (they're cheap). I keep one in the cage, a two attached to perches outside their cage, and one attached to theirplay stand . My thoughts on pros and cons: Pros 1. The bird loves it. 2. It's colorful. 3. It's easy to re-arrange the lattice balls. 4. It's easy to clean. 5. The bell can be replaced (see Cons). Cons 1. Not all bells work. You'll sometimes get a toy where the bell doesn't ring. Instead of returning the toy, you can replace the bell if you want. For example, some toys, such asMac's Spinner Natural Bird Toy , have great bells and can easily be disassembled. You can use one of those bells to replace the one on this toy. Or, you can simply buy a bag of 3-5 bells such asParadise Cow Bells . The problem is that a bag of bells will likely cost more than this toy. Go figure. 2. It's pprobably not for birds bigger than a budgie. I was surprised to see the product packaging has a cockatiel on it. The connectors are very small (the yellow things that hold the balls together in a chain). The balls come apart from the connectors without a lot of pressure. My budgie can't provide this kind of pressure even while swinging on the toy, but seems like the average cockatiel could. I guess that's fine if your bird will also play with the individual balls, but I'm not sure how many people would want to buy a 'chain' if it doesn't stay that way for long :) ---

This toy is best for smaller birds, like a budgie. Larger birds would tear this up!

My cockatiel’s favourite toy!

This toy is very well made and does not have any toxic metal clamp so it was the perfect toy for my baby cockatiel. I have purchased other toys for her which has not been interested in, however she took to this toy immediately and now it is her favourite. Very pleased with this product!

Would have been great if it wasn't broken.

It's exactly as described, but comes apart easily (it was apart in the package). Here's hoping my budgies love it! Update - as I was preparing to wrap this I noticed it was broken. It hadn't just come apart in shipping, there were two pieces completely missing to hold them together. It's now too late for me to return it. I'm sure my budgies will still play with the remaining pieces, but completely disappointed. I should have double checked it the moment I received it

Cheap

This is a pretty junky item, something you might find at a dollar store. It's not really well made, but does the trick of being another jingle thing in the cage. The plastic hook is stretching after a couple weeks, so I'll have to replace that. If you have a dainty bird this might be good, but a parrot would totally destroy this.

Bueno.. eso creo.. Camilo pasa un montón de tiempo balancéandose y picando sus esferas, es resistente y de buen material, la entrega fue en el tiempo establecido. En general todo bien.
