Great product but heavy

I bought this product because I trust the name dewalt and it didn’t let me down. It works flawlessly as I expected. Now understand this unit is heavy for what it is but the hose is long enough you can sit it on the ground and still use it. So why the 4 stars. I bought and quick connect adapter to go on the end. I tried everything in my tool box to take the end off but never did succeed. I endured up buying a completely different hose so I could use the adapter. I’m not sure as to why it would not come off. It was like someone had put it on with lock-tight. .

Cut my greasing time on the tractor by 70 percent

Title says it all...don't know why I didn't buy it before. I really like the purge function. It is heavy even with a 2 AH battery but with the enclosed shoulder strap, it is more than manageable. The length of the hose is just about perfect. Only thing you have to be careful about is not blowing the grease seals on your equipment by pumping too much grease too fast...go slow until you get it figured out.

Dewalt service is the best

So I bought this grease gun last year in January. Only used it a few times and it quit just recently but the 1 year warranty had expired. So I sent it to the repair depot and they wanted up to $112.00 to repair it, or I could buy another new one. I tried to reason with the fellow about the grease gun being hardly used and it must have been faulty to begin with but he would have nothing of that. So I contacted Dewalt directly and explained my disappointment in their product. They sent me a new one.......FREE Awesome company. Awesome grease gun too

Wow! The internet reviews are right on for this gun. Easy to use and prime. 2ah battery powered through 5 tubes and still had juice. My only regret is spending money on a pricy manual pistol grip guns and flex hoses before buying this. If you have multiple wheel bearings to "flush" this makes it effortless. Great price at Amazon Update April 2018: Just lubed my tractor what a joy to use. Brings a smile to my face every time I think about how I used to grease things. Mar 2019. Thought I would add that I follow the recommendations in the YouTube video “How to bleed a grease gun every time!” by DLH Farms and I have never had problems reloading this gun.

Huge time saver for operators. Time = Money. Pays for itself in a week.

I run about 2 tubes of EP2 Moly or high impact grease through this thing each day, 5 days a week. It is a workhorse and very reliable. It will eat up the 1.5ah bats quick, maybe 2-3 tubes depending on grease and pressure. Last the whole week on a 5ah but heavier. Had it over a year now so its a good unit. If you ever have issue with output, take a rag and brake clean and wipe out and clear the grease filter/screen, 2 minute clean and it will be back running. Honestly, if your an operator or mechanic, this thing is worth its weight in gold if you are using a hand pumper.

All of the specs on this grease gun were the same as our lincoln we previously had, this is still a great grease gun at a fraction of the cost of local. It is definately not as industrial or as much psi as our lincoln ubt is a great alternative at a cheaper price. Like how the trigger is a variable speed so you can control how much grease is being applied. Would buy this item again for the small shop, but will see how it holds up in our heavy duty mechanic shop to every day use.

So much easier than my hand pump grease gun

Just finished greasing my farm tractor with my new Dewalt cordless grease gun. Was easy to use and the long hose makes it easier to reach the more difficult grease points. The trigger locking feature also prevents those messy inadvertent discharges of grease. Is a little heavy but the strap provided helps to address that issue. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase so far.
