Bought because it could sustain the high-heat of the oven--broiler
Found these when I was noticing that most of my dishes that I thought were broiler acceptable say "no broiler." I was under the mistaken thought that all my Pyrex, etc. was OK but when I realized that was not true I went looking. This brand is quite expensive, but It is reported to be able to accept a higher heat. I purchased the three piece set but RETURNED it for just the two largest pieces. The third piece in the set was just too small, and realized I might would like the covers. I will say the covers do not tightly cover the dishes--but it is a cover.

Lid is not close fitting or useable in an oven.
I love the material these dishes are made of. They have a very smooth, easy to clean finish which I appreciate in cooking products. Sadly the lids are made of plastic and are NOT watertight. If you tipped them, they will leak. So you need to use plastic wrap or foil to seal the dish and then put the lid on if you want to stack anything on top of the dish. This short coming was displayed in the picture on Amazon but I liked the bakeware so much I order them anyway. And I do really like them. I don't know how well they will last, yet but they do look very sturdy.

Lid does not secure with a seal
I would not really use this for food storage without also covering it with cling wrap. The lid is not very secure on the dish and there are visible gaps on the sides. Good for just keeping it covered before searching but you would want to move it to a different container for leftovers. A bit of a disappointment I’m that regard. Will be keeping it though. It’s good for the price.

Wanted something different then glass
I bought the 8 piece set but I regret not getting the bigger set 12 piece . Its light weight and so pretty for dinner parties.

...still deciding...
I bought a set of Rubbermaid Duralite bakeware to replace some old baking dishes that were much heavier. These are very lightweight, which is great. Cleaning them is a bit of a challenge as they are very, very white, and in spite of my best efforts with cooking spray, etc, I've ended up having to scour them clean with baking soda. I had hoped the tabs on the corners would make them easy to handle coming out of a hot oven, but there is a learning curve here. I'm still deciding whether they will live up to the hype.

Lightweight and Attractive, but Big Practical Downsides
I really liked the look of this pan, but worried about it being shallow and about being a spaz and accidentally putting the lid in the oven. Turns out, those were minor issues. The bigger issues start when you go to take it in and out of the hot oven -- nothing to hang on to. I have "Ove Gloves" so was able to navigate that pretty easily and I think could have gotten used to it without seriously burning myself. I would NOT use regular pot holders here...you will drop this thing. I made an egg casserole (using non-stick spray) and then discovered the really big problem -- cleaning the dish. The photo is after three soaks. The first for an hour with dish detergent only. The second and third with dish soap and oxyclean -- including an overnight soak. Each time, I scrubbed with the scrubby side of a sponge for a long time. With a ton of elbow grease, I finally got the base clean, but am considering throwing this away because I just cant get the stuff on the sides. I used good cooking spray and the eggs were not burned. I think you HAVE to use aluminum foil for anything that has even the remotest possibility of sticking. Please know that this only baked in the oven ONCE. I did not re-heat in the dish and I never put it in the microwave. After one bake to make the casserole, I took out servings from the cold pan and re-heated the food on a separate plate in the microwave. I know they didn't claim to be "non-stick" and I expected some scrubbing because I didn't use aluminum foil, but this is more like a "SUPER-stick" baking dish. I have other glass baking dishes that have endured much, much more.

Very disappointed in care and usage. Not generally user unfriendly
We wanted to upgrade out existing microwave/oven cookware and thought we would test out this dish before purchasing a full set. Very disappointed in it. First thing that struck us was that the top did not fit tightly on one end. Then we started to read all the restrictions they put on the dish. These included, (but were not restricted to) not going directly from freezer to microwave, necessity to thaw food before reheating, no liquid in a hot container, and do not wash if it is hot. Etc, etc. The most interesting was that if it gets chipped or even scratched, the dish should be discarded. Says a lot about its longevity. There was no mention of any of this on the product information on the purchase page on Amazon Sort of conveniently forgotten to be posted Not going to return it. Caveat Emptor as the old Latin saying goes. We will use it and see how utile it is. Personally, I am not going to hold my breath.
