GREAT INVESTMENT

Bought this for a special thanksgiving meal. WOW! super quality, seals moisture in great, and amazingly easy to clean. I would not any hard chemicals or scrub too hard either, it truly is easy to clean if you let it soak in warm soapy water for a little bit.

Good quality at a good price!

I tried another cast-iron dutch oven that was not enamel-coated. The product was supposed to have been pre-seasoned, but the coating was insufficient and the lid rusted on the first use. Don't make the same mistake I did. This dutch oven serves wonderfully and is easy to clean, with excellent heat distribution. It's attractive and was a great value.

Great color choices

A few notes about this pot; I’m 74 and have arthritis in my hands so the weight of the pot is almost too heavy. This speaks well for the pot but not my hands! The first time I used it I noticed a piece of enamel on the inside bottom of the pot was missing, just a pin size spot. The second time I used it there was a small enamel piece missing on the outside of the pot. I don’t think this will affect the performance of the pot so I’ll keep it (for now).

I bought 3 on 6/4/2022. UPDATE 11/27/2022

UPDATE 11/27/2022 I was excited to finally use it (FIRST TIME.) I used it as a deep fryer. The following day, I washed and dried it and noticed cracks are formed as seen on the photos, but not chipped. I am guessing my fire was too high. It is still holding and not chipping. I do have lodge and staub as well and I have used both brands for deep frying with no problem. For this price, stick with lodge. Just be careful not to bump it hard on any surface when washing or storing as any brand would chip if not taken good care of. I now give it 3.5 stars for cracking for the first time use but not chipping. I still use them. 6/4/2022 These are built like a tank. I bought 2 casseroles, 3.5 and the 6 quarts. I also have staub and lodge and this feels heavier than both. I have not used them yet but i feel happy i purchased them.

It is just a simple cooking pot.

Baking bread. The chemicals to extend the bread bought in stores was more than I wanted as the country goes crazy with making their product last longer. I purchased this to make my own.

Ok..it's heavy. So what! Get over it and buy it now!

I think the common saying is 'the best invention since sliced bread'. I daresay the new saying is the 'best invention since the dutch oven' LOL. My life is changed and this product has done a quality job in entering me into the world of Dutch Oven cooking! But I will repeat this is heavy!! Don't think of its weight as a bad thing. Think of it as a superior cooking essential that literally will make you stronger as you clean it.
