Good

I am by no means a very girly girl or a makeup connoisseur. Overall this is a good pressed powder, love the fact that it has some SPF value and the creamy natural seems to fit my complexion quite well. I typically wear "physicians formula healthy foundation LN4" it is slightly annoying that they're even within brand color naming formulas are not the same across the board but I guess so is life. This product loses a star for me because it seems like using the brush applicator waste a ton of powder and so I washed one of my older puff applicators from a different brand of powder to use instead. Still the best powder I've found so I will continue to purchase it but I wish they would think about the applicator a little bit more.

Clean ingredients and SPF

It is not as sheer and flawless as some other expensive brands but I use it due to: Super clean ingredients Price point high SPF for sun protection

Great formula.. terribly cheap plastic compact!

I very much enjoy the formula and wear of this powder. The formulation alone is 5 stars. I layer this over a tinted spf (I work outside full time in the sun and heat, so i can’t take any chances with my skin). However, the packaging is awful and always breaks before I can finish the powder. The first time, I dropped my zipped-shut makeup bag on the ground, and it absolutely shattered both the plastic and powder. The next one I purchased, I dropped a kabuki brush from only a few inches above onto the closed lid, and it completely busted the plastic (but the powder stayed intact that time). So I had to take a star off for the packaging, and another star off for it not being *truly* translucent. The translucent shade (with all the mineral sunscreen in it) leaves somewhat of a white cast and makes my medium-tone skin look about a shade lighter. It’s worth it to lock in my spf, and makeup wears great on top of it… but I am always on the lookout for a more nicely-packaged option at this price point from another brand! I am going to try the Creamy Natural shade next and hope that it looks more subtle on my skin. The price is hard to beat.

Has a white cast

I wanted to love the translucent powder but it has an unmistakable white cast. Thankfully it's light enough that I can sweep my face with my hands to remove it easily...but that kinda defeats the purpose of an spf powder so I'm returning it.

Good Coversge

This is one of the few compact mineral powders with a SPF 30, which is required for proper sun protection.It is really convenient to carry around and use. I only wish it came in darker shades as when applied to my face it looks "whiteish" I have resorted to using a darker liquid foundation, allowing it to set and dry before applying this powder. When I reapply, my face does seem to be very pale, I have tried both the Translucent and beige colours and both gives the same effect. for this reason I give it 4 stars. If it came in darker shades I would give it 5 stars

Impressive non-irritating buildable coverage

I love this because it covers well and is buildable for those days I’m looking really run down. It doesn’t settle in my lines throughout the day and gives a nice natural look that is slightly matte without being flat. I have sensitive skin and this is non-irritating, no breakout when I started using it. It is crumbly but stays in the pan - I use a kabuki brush to apply this.

good drugstore option with high SPF

As others have said, this is a nice drug store mineral SPF pressed powder. I wish it were a tad lighter for my skin tone but it is fairly neutral for my ivory skin. It has good coverage. I usually wear it over a liquid sunscreen for full protection. The only minus is the case which is awkward to use (especially the mirror and brush). I usually use my own brush or a sponge but when on the go it is hard to use the mirror and apply the makeup. The last compact broke-- the latch to close it and eventually the powder broke into pieces. The design could be much better but it is less messy than their loose SPF powder!!

Most Excellent product

With the donning of masks I gave up foundation for powder. Two+ years into powder Physician's Formula is the best of the best. It covers well without multiple layers. I just dust it on, hit the rosacea twice and move on! It doesn't inflame my wrinkles and crinkles, feels soft and silky on the skin. It has a push button opening into compact that I love. I purchased a much more expensive baked powder supposed to be best for older skin. First off, I had to fight to open the compact, then layer upon layer to cover the face. It seems to be baked into the compact staying there. A dollar store emergency purchase covered better. Remember this is a powder, doesn't give the total coverage of foundation, but it is a face refresher that gives a finished look to my old tired face!

Expected better

Hype made me think it would be different, not so much????????‍♀️But a good face powder for the price, smells a bit strange though as did their blusher i bought, sweet medically smell which put me off it but my daughter liked it, but she likes that candy floss smelling Baccarat Rouge overpriced yuk ????

Good option for reapplying UV protection

This is a really good option for reapplying sun protection throughout the day. It contains mineral UV protection which can be difficult to find. It has a nice matt finish on the face and is not fragranced. The colour was a good match for my skin tone (I am a medium fair south Asian). Other reviews have mentioned receiving this product with the compressed powder broken. I didn’t have this problem.

Not for me

Really wanted to like this as talc free. Unfortunately I found it a little too dark for my complexion, it was a bit patchy and drying and did not really give enough coverage. Have it to a friend who has a darker complexion... it sure how she's getting on with it

This is becoming difficult to purchase which is a pity as it is an excellent powder that does not cause any breakouts in my sensitive skin.
