Too expensive now, avoid unless you're rich
I bought four of these a few months ago for $3.52 each. Now they are ridiculously priced. This is a molded hunk of plastic. I'll be moving on to another brand.

It cracked …
First time trying different handle out. Tried installing lathe file and it cracked. Sucks. Ah well live and learn. Probably my fault. Going to pick up crescent handle and move on.

It works
Feels good in the hand and the deep grooves allow for sweaty palms to dry. Fits tight, but I’m skeptical if it will hold if it is used on more than one file. Too many on/offs would wear out it’s holding on, so you’ll need one for each file.

A Pretty Good Fit
I bought a couple of these handles to go along with a couple Pferd files I bought here on Amazon. They are certainly built well and are cheaper than the other Pferd file handles. However, I figured that they would fit the files a bit better than they do. It is a REALLY tight fit, and it is not easy to get the files to go into the handles. Still, they are sturdy and fit well in the hand, so I would certainly purchase them again.

Durable and Flexible
Well made, ergonomic and fits other brand files too! I installed this on a 12 inch flat bastard and the mate between pieces was perfect. No slop or wobble. Highly recommend

Good, but not perfect.
The shape and size of the handle is perfect for my hands (I have smaller hands for a man; ~7.25" from wrist to tip of middle finger, 3.50" across the palm.), but the orifice that accepts the file tang is bit on the small side. I'm using this handle on a PFERD 8" half-round double-cut bastard and ended up having to use a wood mallet to drive the file in deep enough to prevent it rocking in the handle. I like file handles to be tight, but it seems a bit too much force is required to drive the handle home. Edit: I ended up having to set the handle a few times over several uses, but once the file was fully seated, it might as well have been glued in. Been performing well since then.
