awesome tools

I don't use a thread file a lot but when I do, I NEED it. These are invaluable for repairing a dinged thread. Note that they will not make new threads, they will only repair slightly damaged threads. I have an imported one and it does the job but I've worn it down. This set is MADE IN USA, which immediately drew me. After speaking with a fellow machinest, he gave this set a good review from personal use and thus I went ahead and ordered. I love them. They work great. Well made.

Look solid, Well packaged

Comes in a tool wrap to keep them together and each has a plastic case so they knock against each other. I expect many years of use from them.

Occasionally irreplaceable.

I’ve run into trouble with boogered threads on brake pack studs twice in a month and didn’t have a thread file. I was able to get a die to work but the clearance was terrible and I had to use a big vise grip. Not awesome. So now that they are in my box, no more boogered threads. This set is pretty good for the smaller sizes you’re likely to run into.

Great thread files, all thread type.

I really like these tools. They really help to refresh old threads without removing material aggressively. I’ve had one for many years that I got from my grandfather after he passed. Once if figured out what it was, I used it more often than you could believe. I was happy to find this set with all of the thread types because I only had the std type from the 60’s. This set has all of the thread types as shown in my pics. Removes old thread sealer too so you can start fresh.

Exceptional Quality, a must have for mechanics

This set of thread files have saved the day for me many times and for many others. A lot of my co-workers have since purchased this exact item. it includes 32 different thread pitches including pipes, hyd hoses and so on. worth every penny.

Good set of thread files.

These files worked to fix a 1/2” x 13 thread that was bungled up. The tool remained in good shape after use.

Couldn't do my job without them!

Great files, a necessity for any mechanic , millerite, pipe fitter or machinist. Quickly dress/repair damaged files of varying pitches/TPI's. Would buy again and recommended to colleagues.

Every Shop Should Have One

Every shop should have one of these. I have a vehicle that requires hard to get, usually expensive parts. Anything that I can get to renew those parts comes in handy. This set is well made and extensive in the thread sizes available, both metric and imperial.
