quality control is lacking

My drain needed the 15mm ball and a new rod which had rusted away. Unfortunately the new15mm ball threads were stripped on the new rod and the old an new rods were different diameters. The other balls with the kit threaded correctly on the new rod but were the wrong size. To get this done and over with I used a fine tipped soldering iron and inserted the tip in the holes of the new 15mm ball to melt and push up some plastic making giving the rod's threads something to grab. I did this from both ends of the new ball, being careful not to deform the holes on each side of the ball. After that I threaded the new rod into new the ball and it held tightly. The caps and washers that came with the kit did not fit well so I used the old parts. I applied a fair amount of silicon grease and tightened the cap well. It finally worked without leaking. instead of a few minuteas it took over an hour. More work than it should of been. I only ended up using the new rod and the new 15mm ball with all the old parts. The rest of the kit went into my plumbing junk drawer.

Constantly leaked - needs rubber washer instead of plastic ones

The kit is generally good - I like how the include some teflon tape inside, and it comes with pretty much every attachment you will need, EXCEPT that the stupid plastic washers they include (to seal the ball joint inside the pipe) are too small and ineffective and cause water to leak out all over the place. Please, do yourself a favor if you buy this set, and get some assorted rubber washers as well, and use one of these instead of the stupid included plastic ones. They will save you a bunch of frustration and annoyance.

Easier to replace it all

I only needed one part from this kit and it made it difficult. It wasn’t that compatible with my existing faucet. I had difficulty with the install but made it work. It would be easier to replace everything

Great kit

Great combination of items in one single kit. I was able to fix 2 sinks using just 1 kit and still have spare pieces left over. Great value.

Not a Golfilocks experience

Three balls, three washers, three nuts. Various pieces too large or too small but none just right. The largest ball is 1/16" smaller than the one I removed. The pivot rod is so long that it won't fit on the pipe without scraping wall behind the sink. None of the backing washers seem correctly sized to fit in any of the nuts and the one nut that seems to fit the pipe is very short-threaded and won't stay on. And as others have noted - the plastic balls all have an uneven seam that will likely cause a leak. This is going back to Amazon after I order a different kit from a different vendor.

It met my needs

It was easy to install and it works fine. What else is there to say? Also, it's made of metal instead of plastic like the one I replaced with it. It won't break like the original one did.

Great - Just What Was Needed

Very well satisfied with different fittings included with this. Turned out to efficiently fix the problem quickly. I do recommend using the plumbers tape enclosed in package for a tight seal to eliminate any slow drips.

It is really depends on your current set. It might fit or not. You need measure your current Lavatory first. Mine is fit.
