I love this product, for my cat, and it was exactly what I wanted!

I am using this for one of my feral cats, to try to get her to sit, stay, and wait outside of the kitchen, while I prepare wet food for her, because otherwise, she gets in the way, almost trips me, and I have almost stepped on her multiple times. Before getting this, she was responding to my commands (with hand gestures also), but I would have to snap my fingers too. This is a much easier way to do it with her, and she seems to be comfortable with me using it also. The next step is to figure out how to get her to stop also "yelling" at me with her persistent crying or whining out of impatience, while I prepare the food. She'll stop if I make a hissing noise (tzzhhh) like a cat does, or once she gets what she wanted, but not with my hand signals or the clicker yet, but I'll keep working on that. It also comes with a booklet with good advice. I like the size, and I can keep it on the kitchen counter near where I need it.

Better than the phone apps

I recently purchased the PetSafe Clik-R Dog Training Clicker for my new puppy, and I have to say, it has been a game-changer in our training sessions! The clicker is very easy to use and helps reinforce positive behavior in a fun and rewarding way. The clicker has been effective in training my puppy on various commands, such as sit, stay, and come. Workable clicker

May just be the individual unit I received but sometimes trying to click the button jams other than that works as you would expect and even includes a basic instructional pamphlet to help learn to train your pets properly.

Great clicker

Overall the best clicker I have tried. The finger loop makes it much easier to keep it ‘ready to use’ and is less bulky than the wrist loops. The click is also a much more desirable sound than many others…. It’s plenty loud but not as harsh. This clicker may work better than others for noise sensitive dogs.

Great tool and easy to use

Although I've raised two dogs from pups before, this is my first time to use clicker training. We have a foster dog who was difficult to handle on leash and this is helping him learn what I want from him when out walking. I've been using a Gentle Leader on him, which helps, but he still wanted to pull all the time. Now I can use the clicker to mark the moments when he's behaving well, and of course give him a small treat immediately. Don't skip the preliminary steps... including teaching the dog to associate the sound of the click with a reward. Don't be discouraged if your dog is initially a bit jumpy at the sound. If your treats are good enough, they'll get used to it. This clicker isn't super loud, but even so, our little foster startled initially. He soon got over it though. I love the band that helps the clicker stay in position in my hand. It's super useful when handling the leash and treats at the same time!

Major improvement over old school clickers

Old school clickers have a flat piece of aluminum in a case. you press it to make a click. The unit has to be held and you fish for reward treats with the other hand. I find that sometimes pressing the metal ends up pinching my finger against the unit case. The Click-R makes a softer click / less loud but the strap that holds it around one finger frees up you hand as yuu are not HOLDING the unit. The button press is easier by far. A major upgrade to the clicker concept. Wish the click were a bit louder hence the 4 stars

Easy to hold

This is the best clicker ever! Easy to hold and still give a treat. Can be hands free with the finger hold so if you open your hand you don’t drop and lose

Easy to use, and makes training easier.

I got a four-year-old rescue dog in 2016, and six months later me and my partner got a French Bulldog as a puppy. As we both worked shifts and didn't have the time to fully train the puppy, she lapsed into the bad behaviour that the rescue came to us with. With the PetSafe Clik-R, training the dogs is incomparably easier. With a few treats and the distinctive sound of the click, the dogs have quickly associated the sound of the click with reward, and have therefore been taught more in since I bought the clicker than had learned in all the time before. While the packaging is a little frustrating (clamshell packaging is really not the future), the clicker itself is clear, robust and works.

Very pore clicking noise

One of the worse clickers I ever bought. You have to press in certain stot to get a very low clicking noise. The only thing that I like it's the bringer grip. Everything else it's very poor quality. The worst is the clicking noise.

Perfect dog training clicker

This is just what I was looking for - with a 'nipple' that you press down not a button that is already 'depressed'. Sturdy, good click sound, and best of all it has a band to go on your finger, not a lanyard or bracelet. Also you're not going to lose this vivid purple colour item! Great price, fast delivery, comes in its own plastic packet with a training leaflet so all in all, a great buy thank you.

I am delighted with this product

I am delighted with this product. With 5 dogs in our home, clicker training with positive reinforcement has proven very successful. The item slips snuggly on to a finger. I prefer my middle right, however my daughter in law prefers index finger left. The elastic is wide enough to hold the item secure without a pinch. If I let go, the item stays securely in place. Pressing the button for the 'click' to occur is effortless in comparrison to other clickers I have used. This makes the sound instant. We have been so delighted with the ease of use, we have bought these as presents. 5 stars is a must from us.
