Super cute

It’s a perfectly size, very attractive mat. The problem is that it’s made for cats to eat/drink on. And as you can see in the picture, if they spill water, it makes an ugly stain. I use bottled drinking water. It’s not dirty water. And the picture is of the mat once it’s dry. It’s unfortunate because I really love the look of it.

It's a floor mat for cat food, how bad could it be?? It's not waterproof, it's fabric and it's heavyweight, I like it and so does the cat.

Great! We used it for 7 years until the rubber bottom started falling apart (probably because of the age and number of washes). We got a lot more use out of it than I expected!

Cute, easy to clean

Product as described - cute, easy to clean in a washer. No wear at all after washing it. Quick dry. Very happy with the purchase.

Cute but not useful

It is a cute mat but not very absorbent and gets very easily dirty. Our cat moves it around the floor a bunch so the bottom does not grip very well on our hardwood floors. We have actually stop using the mat and transitioned to a plastic tray that is easier to clean. We put rubber bottoms on the tray and it stay in place very well. It does have the added benefit of being machine washable so that is a plus. It just seems to be poor quality which is unfortunate because it is very cute. Let's just say our spoiled cat was not a fan. This was after 5 months of use.

Super absorbent and adorable to boot!

This food mat is even better than I expected. My kitten loves to dump her water bowl or go swimming in it and figured out how to tip a giant glass of water sitting on the shelf above it once. The times she's done so, this mat soaked up every bit of water that landed on it and none seeped through! I was seriously amazed. I set it in the kitchen sink to dry overnight and it was good as new. So glad we have this!

Re-purposed by cat

I used to use children's plastic place mats to feed my cats, until I adopted a Siamese who ate the edges of the mat if her food was not promptly served. She and her feline roommate had to have their dishes set on the bare kitchen tiles. When she died recently, I bought one of these mats for the remaining cat. However, he was by now too used to eating on the floor, and was confused by the fabric feel of this mat. Finally he decided it was just right for sleeping on -- pushed his food dish off it onto the floor, and then lay on the mat to eat and then take a nap when he was finished. So breakfast in bed it is, I guess. But picking fur off the canvas-like surface is more of a chore than the advertised wiping off of spilled food, hence the loss of one star.

Love this mat

Love this mat, cats love it too lol Holds up really well in the washer (when needed), tends not to have the cat food stick to the mat and very easy to vacuum. Cat hair does not cling to it as much as other mats do. It's very cute when my messy eater now waits at the mat for his food.
