Modern dog bowls

We got a new puppy recently so I bought a second one of these dogs bowls in a smaller size. They are a bit on the expensive side, but I like the aesthetic and the height works well for my dogs. I do wish the legs didn’t bow out so much, as we’ve tripped on the legs a few times. For reference, the big dog is a 55lb husky mix and the little one is a 5lb Jack Russell.

Great stylish bowls

These are great and very stylish. They just need rubber pads on the bottom to prevent sliding. Will need to get a rubber mat.

We are still using it after 5 years

We have two 16 pound dogs. The height of the stand is good for them. It sits on a mat and stays put. Putting it is the dishwasher is ok, but leaves the metal streaky. It's really meant to be hand washed. That said Pet Fusion makes a good solid product.

First impressions.. poor quality finishing

Not a huge deal.. but there are 4 small round rubber bumpers circles around the cutouts for the bowls so they don't rattle. On the feeder I received, those rubber bumpers are stuck on hastily. The result is that the bowl sits unevenly, wobbles, and rattles. To fix it I would have to remove those bumpers and re-adhere them. Additionally, some of the bends for the feet that touch the ground are not at 90 degrees. Unsure if I am keeping this feeder. If I do, I may consider bending them to the correct angle. Additionally there are rubber sticker pads for the feet that keep it from sliding on slick surfaces. Regarding the construction.. some reviews have stated that the aluminum for the feeder is too thin/fragile. I don't find that to be the case. It is plenty sturdy as a feeder. Last comment, this feeder does have a larger footprint than others as the legs are designed to taper outward. Overall I feel that for the price I paid ($50), it definitely is a bit of a premium. Particularly with the defects in design/finishing noted above and the fact the manufacture is in China.

An easy maintenance feeder to grace your home -- cat approved

This is a very attractive elevated feeder that I got for my growing kitten. I use the deeper of the two dishes for dry food, so he'll always have food available. I use the shallow dish for canned food. I boughtPetFusion Cat Dish -- Shallow 13 oz designed to prevent whisker fatigue. Brushed U.S. FOOD GRADE Stainless Steel bowl so there will always be a clean one on hand. The dishes are exactly what I was looking for. They're 6.6" wide so they won't irritate an adult cat's whiskers. They're Stainless Steel so they're easy to clean and won't cause any kind of skin irritations. Lastly, the set comes with dishes of 2 depths so you can use them depending on your needs, for water, dry food, or canned food. I wish they'd come with 2 of each depth rather than only 1 shallow dish since I find it more useful than the deep one. It's very easy to keep clean, both the feeder itself and the Stainless Steel bowls. The feeder comes with rubber grippers to attach to the bottom of the unit (more on that later), as well as additional rubber grippers for where the bowls sit, should you need extra. There are already rubber grippers surrounding the areas where the bowls rest. The bowls sit flush with the surface of the feeder, but the bowls are easy to remove and clean. The feeder isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. Then again, I have a very rambunctious kitten that rampages from room to room, and he often slides into the feeder in pursuit of a toy, knocking the feeder askew even though it's placed against a wall. The rubber grippers do nothing to keep it in its place. My kitten is 4+ months old. I shudder to think how much damage he'll do with a bowl filled with dry food when he gets much older/bigger. I anticipate a future of frequently sweeping up kitty food. (Fortunately for him, he's extremely cute, so I can weather the frustration of his kittenish antics) ;) Pros: Attractive Suits most, if not all, decors Very easy to clean Comes with extra rubber grips for around the bowls if they should come off Comes with 4 Stainless Steel Bowls Additional Bowls can be ordered to fit the feeder Cons: Not very heavy Rubber Grips on bottom don't prevent it from sliding Comes with 3 Deep Bowls and only 1 Shallow one instead of two of each I would recommend this item to anyone looking to buy a quality elevated feeder. While it has its cons, the pros greatly outweigh them.

Great look and quality.

This after my furbaby drank, lol. It was easy to wipe it up. The stainless steel bowls are the best I've ever bought for my furbabies over the last twenty years. The only con: The "nubs" provided that are around the dish holes aren't very thick so the dish is practically sitting on the table itself. I think I'll save my fingernails and see about ordering thicker ones. Otherwise, very pleased!

Best feeding and watering stations on the market

Superb minimalist design is absolutely perfect for our three cats. We use two as watering stations and one as a feeding station. The cats love them and it puts them in perfect position without having to stretch too high or bend too low using the 4-in version. Incredibly easy to keep clean and virtually indestructible. Never have to worry about all the junk in plastics or breakage/coatings from ceramics. The anodized finish is also really nice, as powder coating has too many VOCs coming off. This is just perfect and cannot recommend more highly.

Perfect for our Dobermann

I was looking for a dinner mat which I have been replacing every 6 months, when I came across this elevated dog bowl. I had a look at others, but couldn’t find as nice design as this one. I’m trying to cut down on plastic, so this one was a good alternative to cheaper plasticky ones...it is made of metal, very nice and smooth finish, no sharp edges and no welded parts - not that the dog cares, but I do. I bought the large size for our Dobermann and he didn’t seem to notice the change, but feeding time is altogether less messy now, and it seems to be the right height. I find it a bit pricey, but it will last a lifetime, so hopefully I would have saved myself some money in the long run.

Good quality item - not sure it's high enough for larger breeds

This is a good quality item but i'm not convinced that it's really high enough for our rottweiler (55kg). It's a good few inches shorter than our previous one, although admittedly considerably sturdier .... our dog has to lean down lower to eat from this so i'm not 100% sure we're achieving what we're aiming for. The bowls are not huge either but we just about get away with this as we feed twice a day. Also you don't get three bowls with it as mentioned in a previous review but two, both the same depth. All in all mixed feelings about this but we've decided to persevere with it a bit longer, mainly due to the initial cost.

Helps stop cats choking when drinking

One of our cats has had the habit of coughing repeatedly after drinking. Our local vet suggested that he might find it easier for the water not to go down the wrong way if we raised the water bowl to a better height. We bought this PetFusion elevated feeder to see if it would help, and I can honestly say it seems to have improved the situation. The cat coughs less often than before and for less time when he does choke. It looks elegant and is a sturdy feeder. The only thing I don't like is that the brushed steel stains with water spilling on the edges. As the water dries you see lots of stains all over the far side where the cats have lapped water over the edges. That isn't the prettiest thing to look at, but the cats health is more important, so it isn't the worst thing!

PetFusion Elevated Pet Feeder, great product.

Was advised by the vet to raise our feeding bowls after a neck injury to our Cavalier King Charles. He is quite happy with it and I particularly like the 3 bowls, two deep and the other about 1 inch shallower so the shallow bowl effectively raises the height of the food or water by that extra inch over and above the deep bowl and is more comfortable for him though either height is ok, by way of comparison size, he is 13 kilos in weight. The bowls are nice quality with no rubber or plastic parts to trap food or dirt and the aluminium support frame looks really good too. Personally I would have preferred two shallow and one deep bowl, but that is being picky really. The whole thing is a bit pricy though at the same time much better to look at than any other system I have seen so ten out of ten from me.

I swapped the large for the small which I love. However

This is a lovely stylish product. I originally ordered the large version because of the height. I have Italian Greyhounds so they need an elevated feeding bowl. The large was huge and is only suitable for large breed dogs. I swapped the large for the small which I love. However, it is still quite big for small breed dogs. I have contacted the manufacturer as I feel they could do with making another size with smaller bowls and slightly higher. They replied to me straightaway and said they are working on it. So hopefully there will soon be a different size which I will definitely buy and highly recommend to others.
