Great post-op shirt, seems to help alleviate some pain
Got 2 of these for our dog to wear after surgery - she had a large fatty tumor removed from her right chest wall. They worked out very well and the dog seemed to like them, too! She's about 40 lbs and is a mutt - possibly border collie and/or some type of spitz. I ordered larges and they worked out well. They seemed a little small around her chest at first, but it was mainly due to her fluffiness. We smushed that down and they fit fine. She normally doesn't wear clothes and doesn't even tolerate bows from the groomer for long, but I wanted to have something that would prevent her from licking at her incision. Initially, we let her rest upon returning home from the vet, and she was groggy and rather irritable with our cats, who she normally tolerates just fine. After she'd slept for a while, we started by laying one of these on top of her. She didn't love it but it didn't freak her out. One of the best things about these vests/coats is that you don't have to put them over the dog's head or put their arms through anything, so they're way less stressful to put on a dog that isn't used to clothes. The Velcro is strong and wide, plus the fabric is stretchy, so any given size should be able to fit a broad range of dog sizes. Also, having the Velcro at the chest and at the side allows the vest to accommodate different body ratios. Anyway, I worried that the pressure from the neoprene might be too much, but she actually perked up once this was put on. She was more willing to move around and her attitude toward the cats changed considerably. It seemed like it was because she knew the cats couldn't get to her incision anymore, so she relaxed with them. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and I don't know what we would've done without them. They've held up fantastically and still basically look new. I'm going to try to remember to put one on her the next time it looks like we'll get thunderstorms to see if it can act like a thundershirt. It had such a calming effect on her while she was so uncomfortable, I have high hopes.

fit our doberman's weird barrel chest...
it worked. We have a doberman who has this freakishly long barrel chest that nothing fits around, but this did. I of course measured her before purchasing, but still, something just fit weird, and this was good. It was long enough for her, I was able to make the neck smaller but still keep the chest huge. She's still young, and has doberman fur and I live in the snow. During the winter she steps out there and instantly starts shivering. we purchased her a bunch of sweaters but they get wet and have to be switched out each time she goes out. This kept her warm and dry and other then her feet getting cold she was good to go. She was actually willing to walk out there long enough to potty, unlike usual where she steps out, goes nope and turns around. lol

This really calmed down my dog and she was comfortable in it. She couldn't lick her back or belly but she seemed perfectly fine. However, they should make special sizes. My dog is 8.5 pounds and a chihuahua mix, so she's small and this is suppose to fit small dogs with any type of girth. The straps on neck and belly were flapping as she walked. She didn't yank at them but another dog who is impatient when wearing any type of clothes and determined to remove them, could pull them off. There should be more Velcro on the body to secure the neck and belly straps.

Pretty
Loved it but large was slightly small for our 51lb female Staffordshire Terrier who is on the slim side. It seemed to be snug in the shoulders and not quite long enough.

Awesome Sleek Dog Coat
This neoprene dog coat is lightweight, but seems to keep our dogs warm and definitely keeps them dry. I stay in if it’s a complete downpour! It fits snug and comfortable. It allows us to easily use our easy walk front attaching harness/leash under the coat. Nice material and strong Velcro. I ordered wrong sizes initially. Now have xs for 13 lb dog - it’s a little snug but fine and a small for a 16 lb dog - fits perfect. Easy on and off. Love them and got a terrific deal on them with lightning buy!

Excellent Quality and Design!!!
My Italian Greyhound Mix, 10 pounds, loves this! It fits him perfectly and it's great for keeping him warm in the water and at the beach. He doesn't like rain or wind, so this is great! I first bought one size too big (my mistake on not measuring!), but I loved the product so much that I kept the larger size to give to my friend who works with a non-profit dog rescue organization. It's high-quality and an excellent design. The photo doesn't show the superb quality very well.

Great dog garment!
My recently rescued doggie was attacking the place where her homing chip was inserted -- kept it from healing by tearing at it. This gave her skin an opportunity to heal and now she's pretty much all better. Yay! Oh, and it's also a handy little raincoat.

Strong Velcro
I measured my fur baby but the neck is too small for the chest. The neck strap sticks way out. She's not overweight. Material is nice but I have a problem is with the velcro. It is super strong and I have to work to get it unstuck. I will give my coat to our local SPCA.
