Sausage fingers beware…

This Baby Yoda craft is awesome. But if you’re someone with large fingers… beware. You may end up getting so frustrated that you toss your mangled craft across the room. Like are you that dude that miss spells everything you text because your fingers are like bloated hot dogs?? Leave this to children and folks with smaller appendages.

So cute!

I’ve been doing Perler art for a while now and I loved this set, as Grogu is adorable. I didn’t mind having the black pegboard as it meant I could keep my regular clear ones free for other projects I was working on at the same time I did these. No problem at all following the guide - just go row by row. To me it was the same as doing the Hylian Shield kit, since I couldn’t put the clear boards on top of that pattern guide since it made it hard to tell some of the colors with how they print them. There’s plenty of beads to do both patterns, and as you can see in the photo of the color tray I even had extra of each color left over! The only reason I took off a star was because of having to take the time to pre-sort all the colors. It was necessary. For example, there are 3 shades of green in this kit and 2 of them are super close in shading which makes it very difficult to tell them apart. Luckily I had an old tray from a color palette I’d emptied that I could use to sort the colors into. I really wish Perler would pre-sort the colors more..

Great quality

I love the colors, quality of the beads and instructions are easy to follow. It does not include the pegboard so you will need to buy one of you don't already have one. All though I loved this project I gave it 4 stars because it was missing 10 beads of the pastel blue to complete the project. Luckily, there were plenty of the teal and Robins egg to mix and match to fill in the gaps. If it wasn't for this small detail I wohave given it 5 stars.

Hours of fun

My grandsons love this. They’ve done other perler bead sets before and they are always hours of fun. The patterns can be used over and over and you can buy more beads, so all of the kids can enjoy creating figures.

Cute

Cute gift but packaging was beat up. Luckily it was for my own kids so didn’t matter too much. Also there are 3 greens and they are super hard to tell apart to the point it is frustrating!

Not for beginners

I haven’t used perler beads since I was a kid and I definitely never had to fuse them together. So this was probably a bit of an intense project for me to handle as a newbie. But I am a Grogu lover so I had to try overall I think I did a pretty good job but it took me a while to get a hang of the fusing process!

Nice product

Finished product looks amazing. A bit hard to do for the kids, because some of the colours are so close to the same shade. There was enough beads to do the entire project with some left over, but not enough to do a second one.

Fun little craft for adults!

Very easy to put together, once you sort out the colours. In this particular set, some of the colours are EXTREMELY close in shade, making it difficult to differentiate between the two. My recommendation would be to individually sort all colours then go about completing the craft. You are however supplied with WAY more beads than is required to complete the craft. Very happy that it actually does look like baby Yoda (Grogu) when completed!
