When you need this, you'll be glad you have it.

This is the type of thing you don't buy because you presently need it but are glad you have when you finally do. I've dropped countless screws into hard to reach places, keys behind heavy objects, and valuables down drains that this tool would have been super helpful in retrieving. The grabber device on the end is easy to manipulate and has a strong grip and the magnet is powerful enough to firmly hold metal objects. Do future you a favor and get this thing already.

Didn’t buy it for what it was intended for

This worked great to get a sock that was stuck in my vacuum hose. I was about to spend $100 on a new hose but got this instead. My husband and I used everything we could think of to try and get the sock. The plastic curve of the hose too made it very difficult to get anything in the push or grab the sock. Took less then 5mins to grab the sock!! Big win in my book.

Perfect little tool! Saved me hundreds

I bought this because I accidentally dropped a butter knife down the drain of my kitchen sink and needed something small to fit down the drain to grab it. As soon as this arrived, I was sceptical that it was too big to fit down the drain , but it wasn't and I was able to grab the knife in 30 seconds and save me a lot of trouble removing the drain and saved me hundreds from having a plumber do it! This is going straight into the tool box for all my car and other repairs. I highly recommend.

Could have a stranger magnet.

I'm not super impressed by the strength of the magnet. But it fish my light bulb out of the headlight of my car.

Perfect when you need it.

Had a telescoping variety previously. Had to bend it and break it to reach a 8mm socket that fell INTO MY VALVE COVER, RIGHT AFTER I REPLACED THE GASKET IN my garage in DECEMBER. I was beyond relieved. Replaced it with this, which is much more useful due to the fact it can bend into odd shapes, and it holds its shape quite well once bent, too.

Great tool with a purpose

Used this to help me fish ethernet cable through a ceiling and walls. I had to feed it into a central vac tube I had used to run speaker wires behind the drywall and it was a bit tricky to get it in past the bend as the head is roughly 3 or more inches long but once it was in I was able to blind grab the cable to pull it through! Perfect! Also the claw head is a bit enlarged from the body so flat or tight places will be tricky. Overall, very pleased with the build and materials!

Nice strong magnet. Long reach is very handy. Claw works well. Seems to be a solidly built device.
