Bleeds
These are nice and the colors are pretty, but they aren’t great for highlighting in books, notebook, due to them being very pigmented and bleeding though pages. Great for coloring on single pages that dont have another side.

Don’t hold down too long
I bought them to annotate books and if I hold the marker too long, it will bleed through. Or if I push too hard. Light marking and highlighting works great. I’m also using them for work things. The point edge for writing is nice if you have the space to use it. It’s not super fine. Some of the darker colors are harder to see through but they are all still fairly light color on paper

Pretty colors
I like the fine, slanted tip, perfect for highlighting only what I need without it being so chunky that it highlights the above or below words. Doesn't bleed thru the paper either.

Good color variety
I enjoy the muted colors. Didn’t bleed thru my note cards, perfect for flash cards and coloring. I am in med school and will use these for my school work.

Two markers were not working correctly
I received my packaged today and wanted to check out how they were going to hold. Two markers were not working properly. One had no ink and the other was broken (grey). Disappointed that I couldn’t get the complete set to work

Comparing to Mildliners
Bought these because I have all the Mildliners and wanted to see how they compare -I got the 36 pack of markers for $25.89 making them $0.72 a marker. Mildliners are $33.22 for 25, making them more expensive at $1.33 a marker. However, Mildliners are double sided which will be $0.67 a side. -Both brand are WATER BASED so they WILL smudge when using a water based pens. -These S-Note markers are more vibrant and less sheer the darker the color. -Unlike Mildliners, these don't have "highlighter" colors such as yellow. -Both can be seen from the backside of paper but the Sharpies bleed more. -I used paper that can take quite a beating. The Mildliners started eating the paper at 11 coats, and bleed 21 coats in. The Sharpies bleed without eating the paper with 25 coats and would probably eat the paper with 30. -Mildliners have smoother ink and these markers have more of a classic marker ink where it's very spotty. With the paper I used, it left a glossy texture in parts where the ink was thinker. -Some of the tips weren't fully pushed in so I had to fix that by pushing them down myself. The tips themselves are softer and leave a thicker line compared to Mildliners hard tips. Overall, they aren't bad but compared to the company that made mild highlights a thing, they don't compare. However, the color selection is broader which is a plus. (NOTE: R#M# refer to Row and Marker. Front to back, left to right. They don't have color names where as Mildliners do.)

NOT PERMANENT MARKERS
I just came here to say that I ordered these without reading the reviews. The omission of the word "permanent" didn't stand out to me because "Sharpies" have always been permanent in my life. So, it's not false advertising because it doesn't say NOT PERMANENT so don't make the same mistake I did. I didn't need more non-permanent markers. Colours are beautiful. That's why I ordered them. So, again, these are NOT PERMANENT MARKERS like the Sharpies you may be used to. They are for paper. I use Sharpies to permanently label plastic containers and objects. I'm not sure why some people are reviewing that they are permanent.

They bleed through book pages
I wanted some nice highlighters for annotating my books, but after testing them on pages at the back of one book, they bled through immediately. Really disappointed, they shouldn't be advertised as "No bleed"

“No Bleed” is inaccurate
The claim to be “no bleed” but that is not accurate.
